The food was spectacular. Highly recommend. Service was wonderful. Very high quality without being stuck up like many other Vancouver places.They were generous in accommodating food restrictions (went above and beyond).We did the tasting menu, which I highly recommend. Great atmosphere, and although it was next to Hastings, we sat outside on a warm summer day and it wasn’t loud at all.Do yourself a favour and go.

Good place to drink as they only charge $15 corkage fee on top of retail wine price here. Disappointed tasting menu tonight.

Great spot for a quick drink or a full dinner. The selection of wines and sake is impressive, and if you leave the selection up to them, they will always find you a delicious drink!The seasonally inspired food is superb, and keeps things fresh and creative.Have returned many times!

Food is tasty, but the portions are very very small! We ordered 4 things off the food menu for 2 of us and we left hungry. We wanted to order desert but we were disappointed by the portions so we decided not too. You probably need to order 6 things off the menu for 2 people to be satisfied. Service was good. We spent $200 including the tip.

Had my birthday dinner here a while back, and what a first impression. All the dishes were exceptional, creative, and cohesive. Our group opted for the set menu and got a little bit of everything. One of our friends was dairy-free and they were very accommodating. I’ll definitely be back for another visit!

Brilliant restaurant/wine or sake bar. Food and selections of wines/sake are superb. Each dish is thoughtful and made with fresh local ingredients. Some of the best vegetable dishes. Dachi and Elephant make some of the best vegetables. Staffs are friendly and knowledgeable. We have two young children and they were very accommodating.Lastly, the outdoor area is very nice too. I think it's a great place for drinks and food, but best if you do both.

Amazing restaurant! Did the tasting menu, really tasty. Had an amazing server who set us up with wine pairings for each dish, including some pretty unconventional choices that worked out great. Was an amazing experience and we are looking forward to going back soon!

Enjoyed a nice lunch here a little while ago. They had a pleasant selection of wines and ciders. Seating was outside, ideal for sunny weather. Would love to visit again for dinner

Something a bit different for the Hastings neighbourhood. While everything we had was nicely cooked, we felt it was a bit pricey for what you get. The clams were quite small, the fish was swimming in butter, and the short rib was OK. The best is the octopus and biscuits!
