Congee Noodle Delight
Got the century egg and shredded pork congee, as well as a side of Chinese donuts. The donuts were nice and crispy, and the congee was good as well. The peanuts in the congee were raw, not cooked, so they weren’t very crunchy, sadly. There was more century egg than I expected in the congee, and the congee had a nice consistency. Their prices were also very reasonable. I’ll definitely be back to try their other dishes!

NEVER VISIT. A lot more options if you drive 5 minutes away. I was craving BBQ pork called cha siu for dinner, not like the crispy skin type of pork. Anyways, the worst ever. Honestly, I think I have reached rock bottom or bbq pork cha siu ever. In addition, there was for some reason they added MSG to it. They added so much that it woke me up in the middle of the night. If you've had MSG food, you'd know what feeling I'm talking about. I will NEVER come back to this place again.The place is just poor service, no greeting when I arrived even for take out. I was watching staff serve". It was a pathetic amount of effort"

So legit! It’s located inside a mall. My guest and I had the 3 BBQ meats over rice, fish congee and beef chow fun and they were all so tasty! The 3 meats were fried pork belly, roast pork and soy sauce chicken. It came with a generous helping of ginger scallion oil sauce. No MSG after effects. Huuuge portions and sweet customer service. I needed the receipt and forgot it, and the staff and owner were so accommodating! They emailed a copy to me right away.

Overall a decent place to have a meal. Portions are large and good value for money. Servers are super nice. Deep fried tofu is must try. Fried rice with black glutinous rice could be a bit softer. Fried rice noodle and sweet and sour fish are great too. Free underground parking in the mall.

Tried their Preserved Eggs with Salted Shredded Pork and Chinese donuts the other week. It was so delicious and filling! They do sell out the donuts really quickly in the morning. So if you plan to visit and want to try congee and the donuts together, make sure you get there early! Cash and debit as payments only. Service was great.

The food is always good. Especially after the pandemic. Best Chinese food in Vancouver. If you like Chinese food this is the place. The service is wonderful. I am always treated like a friend. Great place. I will be back.

All in all 3.5 *, service is Swift and nice. The wontons are large and noodles are aldente. The soup base needs a lot of work. It they improve that, they will be lining up out the door! Fish dace ok per my mom. Will try other items next time. Parking underground is free for 2hrs.

Congee Noodle Delight
Hidden gem located at the International Village Mall in Chinatown. Big portions of delicious food at a very reasonable price. No frills dining experience. For those who like it spicy, the chili oil is homemade and will kick up your dishes at least two notches. Wonton noodle, congee, and their crispy rice noodle dish are excellent.
