Canucks Bar and Grill
The experience at Canucks Bar was a pleasant surprise in the YVR US terminal. Good food, attentive and friendly service, and astonishingly fast. My waitress, Myrna, was very professional and was right there exactly when (and only when) I needed something. I had the Tuna Poke Bowl which was fresh and tasty, and would have been great even by out-of-airport standards. It was a good serving size for me to feel satisfied but not overly full before flying, and was full of healthy stuff. I don’t really take any issue with the prices, either. Considering how inflated food is getting these days combined with the fact that it’s an airport, $25 for a poke bowl (with a decent amount of fish) isn’t terrible.

Always nervous about trying airport food, but Canuck’s was awesome, the food was great and the service was too! Highly recommend if you have a layover in Vancouver airport

Canucks Bar and Grill
As with almost all my reviews, it's the staff who make or break the customer service experience. Their saving grace was the food and the bar staff for if it weren't for both, it would have been a lower rating.If you are looking for great food and good value on the US departures side of Vancouver airport, this is a place I would recommend.

Everything was quite good for a restaurant anywhere but it was a super breakfast at the airport. The Benedict was fresh and tasty.One tap was empty but they still had a decent selection on draft. $10+ is a little higher than around town but very reasonably priced for airport beer.

after i was seated it took a good 5-10 for someone to see me and another 5 to get my order. not the friendliest staff but after i order food got out super quick and the fish tasted amazing, just could of improved on the other components of the taco
