Vancity Fried Chicken
I really wanted to like this place, but it was just so lackluster.I got their Chicken burger (medium/mild) and it was just a thin piece of chicken with some coleslaw and sauce between two buns. I’m not sure if it was an off-day or a new cook, but the flavour was just average.Unfortunate, because there’s some really other good fried chicken places nearby.

Food was great, bit on the expensive side(story of Vancouver) but I got my money's worth with the portion size. John was very friendly and helpful, made great small talk and genuinely showed interest in the customers. Didn't need to ask more than once for me to leave a google review after I already said yes, but I appreciate the great service and great food all the same

Vancity Fried Chicken
Came here because of the good reviews and the photos seem to be really good! Unfortunately the burger did not meet my expectations at all. Their fried chicken is so little, I’m unsure what happened. I hope it’s just an off day and maybe I’ll revisit again…

Vancity Fried Chicken
The hype did live up. Went to vancity today, the owner was very friendly and nice. We got the whole chicken flavored to go but forgot to take photos as we were very hungry and finished the whole chicken in minutes. The chicken wasn't oily at all and the flavors were on point. We took the spicy and lemon pepper but surely will try the other flavors too down the line.

The chicken was nicely cooked and juicy. I just wish it was way more spicy. Could barely feel the spicy part. Service was nice. Just lacking a lot on the atmosphere.

The taste is really good and very different to the typical fried chicken available elsewhere. Just found it to be a little bit on the pricey side!

Heard a lot of people said that this tastes like Korean fried chicken and I’ve been wanting to try their fried chicken ever since. Finally gave them a try and I ordered half flavoured chicken (honey garlic and the owner gave us free lemon pepper herbs topping, thank you!) and poutine. I must say that the chicken was the bomb! It really tastes like Korean fried chicken (at least from what I know from Korean restaurants back home). It’s so crispy outside yet so tender inside. Interestingly, it’s not greasy nor overly oily. Definitely coming back maybe to get the whole chicken instead and the chicken burger.Oh and they’re halal and only use organic non-medicated chickens too.

Awesome spot for fried chicken - some of the best chicken I’ve ever had. Wasn’t oily, well seasoned, fries were so good as well as the sauces. The owners were very friendly and let us stay after closing. It’s good to see another halal fried chicken place making unique recipes and good service

Pretty decent taste, haven’t found any exceptional taste the way everyone is reviewing it. It’s true that the chicken wasn’t greasy but it didn’t taste good as well. Was a bit dry even. I would recommend this if you’re only nearby of this then only.
