Bought a vehicle from them. They told us everything was fine with the vehicle. 2 weeks after our purchase the alternator went and they wouldn't cover the cost. Don't buy from these guys

BUYERs BEWARE SCAMMERS, FRAUD, LIARS ALERT Bought a vehicle about a month ago from these dishonest lying owners. They sold me a vehicle with a safety that was unsafe to drive. I was suspicious that Hume/ their auto technician/salesman was lying to me so I took it to another shop for a safety inspection and it failed the original safety. They have an outside mechanic name Trevor Barnes or TB Auto Repairs that signs off on their fake safeties.Hume told me he replaced the oxygen sensor but he didn’t, he told me that the serpentine belt was good but he gave me me the incorrect belt and packaging and the ball joints and control arms in the front were worn and shot which is very unsafe.The irony with this entire transaction is that Nicole, Dana, nor Hume know that I caught them frauding me. I’ve reported them and Hume and Trevor Barnes to the MTO, OMVIC, and to the Consumer Protection Act. I guess these owners think that consumers are too stupid to figure out their deceptive business practices. I have photos and letters to prove the validity of my experience.

I am very pleased with this auto sales place . I feel comfortable calling them to ask about my warranty . Yes a year . I absolutely love my suv . Omg it's so beautiful and powerful .

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Called and asked a few questions before we paid thousands of dollars for a vehicle and they said I was asking things that don't really matter and they are busy with other things. So asking if the winter tires and rims were included because we had not heard back after over a week and asking about the warranty and safety are questions we don't need to know about? I guess this is how you buy a vehicle then? You go in and pick one not knowing anything??? I guess we have been doing it wrong for 45 years.So after this rude comment I tell Dana I think we will go someplace else he says oh you are definitely the kind of person that needs to go somewhere else" then hangs up on me ? You sir are not going to sell alot of vehicles with that attitude and rudeness. He sends me a text telling me I will never find such a great deal. He should actually be happy we walked away because he said if we didn't buy it he was sending it to Windsor and could sell it for $3000 more there. Oh and by the way we have actually already found something for a way better deal.To bad I didn't have the chance to tell Dana my other daughter was interested in buying one of his vehicles as well before he decided to be so rude and hang up on me. Thank God we found out his true colors before it was to late.He came across as very nice at first. Don't be fooled. Listen to all the reviews"

I have bought 4 cars from this dealer and have never hade a bad experience. They stand behind what they sell. I had to bring the last one back for a minor repair and it was looked after in short time.

Agreed with the other one stars reviews here. I initially expressed interest in a vehicle from this lot and the salesman was very unpleasant towards me. Looking back, I'm glad that I didn't bother to proceed and I don't recommend going here for anything.

Stay away from this place, the owner is rude and defensive! Talked on the phone and originally was optimistic, when we arrived at the location a completely different experience. When we would ask questions or point out an issue he would get mad and almost be yelling at us about how it was not safety yet. Eventually he stomps away muttering in the middle of us looking at a car. He sends another associate to deal" with us and when we asked if I could take the car to get checked at my own mechanic he shouts from across the room " there's no way in hell your taking my car to a mechanic". Red flags every way you turn at this place."

I found a good car at a great price. I found Dana very straight forward to deal with. No issues at all. I would definitely go back again and I would recommend anyone looking for a low priced car to go there.

Dana Kennedy the owner of Thames Auto and Toy Centre, is a liar, deceptive, belligerent, ignorant and rude.I bought a vehicle that was sold to me with a fraudulent safety signed by a technician with an expired license.The vehicle was sold to me in an unsafe state. I noticed several safety related issues with the vehicle, when I took it to another repair place to have a thorough inspection done,and my suspicions were confirmed that this vehicle was drastically unsafe to drive. It was never properly inspected for safety.I have contacted MTO and OMVIC, and an investigation is being launched.Don't be fooled by Dana Kennedy Do NOT buy a vehicle from this place and the reviews are accurate and credible. Ensure to read all of the negative reviews.In response to Dana Kennedy's review that is now removed, no surprise there. You are definitely a source of misinformation.My friend and I did not get the chance to fully look at the vehicle, as we couldn't put it up on a hoist.We made sure it started, checked the wipers, nitice the motor not working. Also noticed the wheel bearing, and rear brake light.After taking it to an inspection station, 16 different safety related issues were found. You haven't found any of them yet.There was no buyers remorse on a lemon of a car that was sold to me unsafe, as you put my life in danger.I have documented proof that the safety certificate was fraudulently signed and have a copy of it.We will wait for MTO and OMVIC to visit you, and see what the outcome is.You also told a friend of mine when asked about an unsafe vehicle being sold in that state, you responded with What do you expect for $5700 it's a cheap f!@#$%g car!!!

If i could give a zero rating i would...was looking at a car on lot..opened the door to look inside and owner started shouting and swearing at me to get out of the car. i only opened it to look at dashboard. VERY unprofessional and disappointing. I was fully prepared to request to test drive and purchase it outright. I will never buy or never recommend this business to anyone.
