A buddy of mine told me about this place after my Dewalt impact drill pooched the bed. 10 minutes after arriving, I was walking away with my drill, good as new. Will definitely be returning if I have any more issues with my tools. Highly recommended!

Learnt my lesson on why you should shop local! After screwing around with Amazon for weeks trying to find a part for my angle grinder, I decided to check these guys out. They had the proper (rare) OEM part in stock at a fraction of the cost of one off Amazon. Great guys to deal with too. I would highly recommend giving Tool Doctor a shout if you’re looking for power tool parts. The next time one of my tools breaks, I’ll be sending it to Tool Doctor for repair!

The reason this place got one star is because the gentleman that took my call actually listened to my problem and then gave me a lengthy explanation as to why it he can’t repair pressure washer and rather replace the entire bottom price of pressure washer. I tried to get him to help me lower his $300 quote asking for other avenues or options but nope impossible was his answer! (I am a female which hopefully didn’t play a role)I explained how much this pressure washer meant to me, that I have very little money and I desperately wanted it fixed. He flat out lied. He said he couldn’t tap the broken piece, the reason I know he lied is because I got it done elsewhere for no where near $300! My personal conclusion is he’s lazy and don’t want the hassle. My friend, a word of advice is Customer Service comes before anything and everything! If you don’t want the hassle say so, if your to busy be honest.I’m so glad I stumbled across TopGun small engine and tool repairs in Cambridge because my pressure washer part I needed fixed cost $10!!!!!! I was charged $50 in total, so that’s a $250 savings. I know where I’ll go and guide people too, do you?

My shop has been using The Tool Doctor for a few years now, and in that amount of time I've never had a bad experience. Today they went above and beyond on service repairing some of my shop's tools while I waited just to keep us up and running.I can't recommend these guys enough. They've become a partner to my business!

I dropped off my worm drive saw to be refurbished and I was thrilled with the results. I'm now good for another 20 years :)Pricing was fair, workmanship was excellent and the turn around time was fast. I highly recommend them and I will be back for all my tool repair and maintenance needs.

Table saw motor was broken, emailed them they suggested my capacitor was fried (which according to my research was likely) offered a very fair price to fix it. Turns out the motor was actually KO, gave me two options for a new motor one of which was an amazing deal. Got it home but it didn't spin the right direction, they asked me to bring it back and ended up giving me a better motor and took a few mins to pull the cover off the wiring to show me how to get it to spin correctly just incase this one was also spinning reverse... AKA they really took care of me. Everything was done ahead of the time they estimated, everything was done at a very fair price, and service was friendly and top notch.HIGHLY Recommend

This place keeps the equipment for many months without repairing it. Whenever I call to check if they fixed it, they have no idea about the equipment and says they will fix it next week. It been 2 months my equipment is with them. I am just going to get my equipment back from this dishonest place and find another shop.

Dropped off some tools for repair and was quoted costs that were suspiciously close to the price of brand new tools. When pushed on the matter, was told that costs for new tools was actually double. Apparently they did not think we know how to find out the value of new tools online. To top it off, was charged over $300 for inspection fees when it was clear that no more than two minutes was spent on any one tool. Simply floored by my experience here. This will be a story I tell my colleagues for the rest of my career.

Dropped a tool off for a simple repair first thing on a Friday, was told I could pick it up in a few hours. I left the tool there for 3 full business days and went to pick it up and was told it hadn't been touched yet. When I came back the next day the tool was fixed, but the bill was much higher than what I was quoted both on the phone and when I dropped the tool off. Apparently the part required was different from what they assumed it was, and they didn't bother to call me to confirm the new price. No room for negotiation. Ended up paying the higher price but I won't be back.Edit:Matthew called me to resolve the situation. He apologized for the mistakes that they made and asked for another chance with my business. This speaks volumes, and proves there are people in this company that do actually care. I'll be giving them another chance next time I need a tool repaired.
