Deng’s Dumpling
It was our first time in the shop and we were given free drinks and chilli oil! The cashier was very accommodating and the service was relatively fast. The siomai and dumplings are top tier and reasonably priced.

I love supporting family run food places such as this one! The dumplings were so delicious, and the price was greatly reasonable! We got the Family Dinner with 32 dumplings and 2 wonton soup for $50 and it was good for 4 people! Just a side note that there's only four sittings inside, we honestly thought it was a big sit-in restaurant.

Amazing dumplings! I was having a hard time finding vegetarian dumplings in Calgary and then I found this place. It had recently opened when I went there for the first time. The owners were amazing and their water fried dumplings are to die for! Even gave us complementary drinks. I also tried they’re frozen dumplings and made them at home, it was really good!

Me and my 4 friend came here after dinner for a snack and ordered 12 dumplings to share. They saw that we had 4 people and gave us extra dumplings and drinks for free. Very kind, generous people. Also chilli oil and dippin sauce are fire.

First time trying Dengs after waiting months for their second location to open. So worth the wait. Tried the vegan steamed dumplings and pork wonton soup. Both were amazing.The dumplings are thicker than usual but I enjoyed the chewy texture. The filling was a delicious mushroom veggie mix. Will definitely be frequenting often and even purchasing some frozen ones to take home.Also I don't think there are many places my hubby and I could get a filling lunch for around $10 each.The customer service was also top notch, they are genuinely friendly and you can tell they appreciate the business.

I finally had the opportunity to visit Deng's Dumplings' second location, and it's closer to me.The wife was working at this location while he stayed back at the original.I got the Hungry Man Water Crispy Pork Dumplings. From previous experience, I requested extra crispy, and she happily complied. The extra crispy request makes a big difference!The filling was nice with a good balance of flavors without an overwhelming pork taste. The skin was much better with the extra crispy crunch to contrast the juicy meat centre.The wife was so generous that she offered me a free drink and their famous Special Chili Oil. What a kind and generous offer. This is why so many of us love supporting Deng's Dumplings.Come here for great food and wonderful people.

Deng’s Dumpling
The dumplings are juicy, and the flavours are tasty. These are 100% homemade, handmade, and authentic! The homemade chili oil and vinegar on the side complement the dumplings well. The owners are really lovely people. However, I really hope they can make the wrappers a bit thinner (the skin is just too thick!) I'd buy the chili oil if they sold it in bottles. It'd be nice if the prices are standardized for steamed versus pan-fried dumplings.

Super delicious dumplings and very friendly people here. :) Started off ordering 12 pork dumplings but after finishing, we decided that we needed some frozen ones to take home. The chili oil is amazing as well. Definitely recommend!
