Went a few years ago and had a ton of fun. Everyone was really friendly and the vibe was great. I came in near the end and random people kept giving me their left over drink tickets - ha!I liked the variety of booths they had, and the live music really took things up a notch. It's a great way to try a variety of products and the new drinks on the market.

Not much in the way of International beer options. Some good local Alberta options. The music was fantastic! Do NOT waste your money on the Ale Pass (complete rip-off). Just get the general admission.

Went to the event last night Mar 25/23, its been an annual event for me and my friends for quite sometime, and normally a great event. This year however was terrible and disappointing! Lack of vendors, vendors running out of product early and no beercade afterparty (which was paid for before the event). Every other year the Shaw center was full from end to end in vendors and fun, this year it wasnt even a quarter of the space! I wont be going back to Edmonton's beer fest anytime soon!

Mediocre beerfest compared to the ones held at the Expo. Much smaller, and there were maybe only 3 stalls that were truly “international”. Unless you count the states! What ruined it for me was the fact it was already mediocre, and then they decided to ruin the experience with BAGPIPES. Massively loud, echoing though a huge hall - I couldn’t hear the person standing next to me talk.I’ll skip this one going forward and go to the ones held at the Expo Centre instead.

The March 24-25, 2023 event was sad. It was half the size of the last one and had too many farmer market type venders. There was very little international, out-of-province or outside of Edmonton breweries represented. The March 10-11, 2023 show of it's competitor at the ExpoCentre was far better. Ticket price was way too high for what was provided at the show. It was like they just put on a quick show for those who at purchased tickets for the event cancelled by COVID. Too bad, this use to be a great event.

The event is great. I would like to see more solo acts on stage. It’s a great set up and nice stage. It doesn’t need to be loud.

I went with a group of friends. It was a great experience! We got there early, getting in was easy and fairly quick. The samples were reasonably priced and there was more beer to sample then anyone could possibly manage. We did Beer God Passes which got us access to the Beer School. It was soo much fun, the girls and I will do this again for sure.

A few of us attended the 2023 International Beer fest this past weekend. We were very disappointed!International usually means beer from other countries does it not? All we saw was craft beer and local distilleries.Having Beer and other libations from other parts if the world would have been a great thing!Don't get me wrong we love both. Having just been at the Edmonton Craft Beer Festival we were hoping for something different.Tickets were $40 or $80 for a sheet, $10 for a cup??? The cup should be free really. The disorganization of lines at each booth was astonishing, you couldn't get through the crowds to get to the booth you wanted, vendors ran out of certain things within an hour or two. Less vendors mean longer lines, more vendors means shorter lines and more places to try.I don't know about you but I think most like a party atmosphere as well, the bands and entertainment were none of that. This is an event we won't be back to, we'll stick to the Craft event.

We had been to this event prior and enjoyed it, but this year (2023) was such a disappointment that it had us asking for our money back....We showed up Saturday at around 6:30 pm, doors opened at 4:30 I believe for an event that ran until 10:30 pm.As we arrived, immediately purchased drink tickets only to find that 3 of the handful of drink vendors, maybe 10 total, were already out of liquor, and the remaining had half their selection left.Lines were 20+ minutes to get a tiny glass of liquor, and most of the 'international' vendors were beers such as tsingtao and Soju (readily available in liquor stores here). Was over crowded/booked it seemed and resulted in an extremely subpar evening. We will be going to the Expo centre beer fest from now on and avoiding this one.

We got there at 7. There was a line to get in. The line went quickly and the security was nice as they checked our tickets, ids and got us in. The line at the ATM was quicker than expected. We should have brought cash. It was a good event. Getting in and getting started took too long so the value for money wasn’t what I was hoping for
