Two years ago I faced an increase in my condo's insurance policy. The increase seemed unreasonable but what to do. I hadn't seen my insurance agent in more than a year. Then, I met Solvi of Stokholm Insurance (the Cooperators). When speaking with her I realized that she truly cared about my best interest. Over the year I transferred all of my insurance policies to Solvi's company. She expedited my insurance needs AND saved me money. Thank you Solvi.

I asked to cancel my moms house insurance because she passed away last year. They wanted me to prove it and send in her death certificate. I sent it in and they have no record of it. So instead they didn’t refund her estate. They sent a new insurance policy for this year and raised the rates. I called them and they said they tried to get a hold of me on my Moms phone which obviously is not in service. Well now they can cancel it after they charged her for a year that she wasn’t alive for.

When my father bought the house I was raised in, he insured it with CoOperators in New Westminster. After he died, I carried on dealing with them. My house has had a policy with this company since 1974 and we've never had a claim. I've just ended a 46 year business relationship.Over the past 18 months I spoke to them about a new roof I had installed. They sent me an updated statement. It was wrong. I called to correct it. They never amended the paperwork. But what they did do was call me frequently at work, asking about home inspections and 'have we told you about coverage for x....' It was annoying in the extreme.Today, I got house insurance for a thousand dollars less than what CoOperators was offering. I used a company called Western Coast Insurance. If you prefer a company where the people on the phone have a tenuous grasp of English but won't let that get in the way of them trying to upsell you their latest more expensive coverage, then by all means, use Stokholm Insurance. Otherwise, I'd suggest you go elsewhere.

The agent Natalia was very helpful with getting my vehicle insurance done! Got me what I was looking for and explained how it works. Will definitely continue renewing with them!
