Ottawa Valley Midwives

I was a first time mom and we had a great experience at Ottawa Valley Midwives. They were understanding, provided great education when we had questions and provided an excellent level of care. We highly recommend them and will be using them for our next child!

I have used OVM for both of my children’s pregnancy & births. Pascale, & Saija were part of both, I also got to know Amélie & Joanne with my second. The level of care provided by the midwife team was beyond what I could have expected as a first time mom and just as amazing the second time. There’s no feeling rushed or unimportant. The care is so personalized, you are fully informed, you feel confident in their care, can trust you always have lots of time at each visit, their vast knowledge always available, and full support no matter what the journey may bring and choices you make. Also having a team means you will 100% know the person at your delivery and they will know you. The 6 weeks of postpartum care is also incredible -having someone to check in on mom and baby and do home visits for the first little while helps so much! Highly recommend OVM and especially Pascale and her team they are the BEST. <3

I cannot say enough great things about this clinic and it’s midwives!Amazing compassion and information for anyone expectingWhen I was a first time mom I remember booking a consult meeting with the midwives. A huge factor in deciding to go with the midwives was the fact that they book 45 min session.My family doctor was booking 10 min appointments and when there i felt that I shouldn’t be asking “annoying” questions.The midwives never made me feel this way and advocated me t throughout pregnancy and delivery.While each person had to chose what is right for their pregnancy journey my suggestion is to book an initial intake meeting with them if you are expecting, you won’t regret it!
