Hell on Earth

One of the guys from the management was nice, another one was okay but Rose was rude, ill-mannered, and disrespectful. They are disorganized and Luke and Rose both supported each other when lying to people. They're overpriced with barely any utilities The only utility offered was cold water. Someone was smoking in our proximity and management said nothing to them. The apartments that they show weren't cleaned properly, in fact all of them that were showed had a green chemical on the rugs, which is often used for mice. Another person that I was with saw a large mice run by. When we asked the management about it, they acted confused. There was also a stench to the apartment. When talking to them over the phone they were being apathetic and often short-tempered. While doing paperwork they were being careless, requiring us to come to the office multiple times. The speed bumps are so high while driving you think you're about to throw up and possibly have a heart attack.

Well kept grounds and very reasonable rent. Close to transit and shopping.

I wish I could give a negative 200 Stars cuz after my experience by just going to view the place and to fill out an application the guy gentleman that need the place was really rude and the lady in regards the application was really discriminating so even if I did get accepted I would never live there so I'm glad I didn't get accepted

I'm a renter and I give the NEW management a rave review for addressing security issues promptly.

I had the fire place going full tilt and the curtain sheers where literally blowing in the wind. Cold air was pouring out the light switch cover. All the windows and doors where closed. Now that year, it was a real cold snap. I remember having a winter jacket, gloves and a toque on sitting there watching tv and it was cold. When I lived there a couple of long term residents told me why it was so drafty. Seems that when the place was built and the insulation was inspected by the city and passed it was then pulled out and moved to the next building for that inspection. Meanwhile, our building was drywalled over with no insulation. Man, it was cold. To top it off, the door glass in my car was smashed and the contents of my car were routed through. I get it, the car thing can happen anywhere, but the freezing thing sucked.

Rent isn't too bad, maintenance is horrible. The area is pretty bad for property crimes and prostitution. Dirty Condoms around the parking areas quite common. Thefts from our cars and second floor balcony (by ladder). Very poor insulation for winter, our apt was horribly drafty. Hydro bill $200+/month when cold. No insulation between apartments, conversations can be heard clearly through walls. Many of the buildings have rodent infestation. Mice were frequently seen in our apartment, management simply doesn't care.Not family friendly, our kids and neighbours kids constantly told by Jack" to not play outside. Not allowed to ride their bikes either.More than one occasion

Its My Home so can't really complain even if there are some concerns. Although shed some light on the increasing maintenance bills with Strata. Since last year paying almost double the strata fee as a renovations cost or budget deficit. am not sure how that would help the first time home buyers. Either you can pay all these costs or can think about saving same money at the end of the day. Both things are impossible to happen.
