Wawel Pâtisserie

My family and I came in ti purchase a few things, and as we were selecting the items we wanted to purchase off the shelf, the older lady behind the counter asked why we were taking so long and very rudely told us that this was not a daycare and that we needed to hurry up. It was so surprising and out of nowhere. We were the only people in the store, our two kids were quiet and very well behaved, and we had only been there for a minute. We put the items we were going to purchase back and left.

Best bread and service in town! Will definitely go there again.

Great pastries and a great selection of cakes in the heart of Verdun! Love their sernik. The staff is always helpful and welcoming :)

I have to tell me experience because it was so odd. I don’t think this is a certified Wawel store… I’ve been to other Wawel stores in Montreal, this one has left me speechless.When I went inside the shop, there was no-one greeting me. There was no plum donuts, just a few products on the shelves and a few cakes in display. Then 5 minutes later, an elderly lady came out and I smiled and told her I want to get the cake. She looked at me in annoyance and returned to her cash. I was left confused and wasn’t sure if she understood me. So I came over to her and spoke to her both in English and French, but she was just standing there and staring at me, I was so confused and uncomfortable. Then she mumbled a few words and went to the back of the store. I just left the store questioning what had happened…

Always good service and delicious fresh pastries. My fav is cheesecake, my son's fav is donut with cream. Highly recommend

I go this shop quite a lot and was suprised to see the negative comments, I quite enjoy their products.The pies are my absolute favourite, and anything with poppyseed is a delight you cannot find in chain stores.There are products on various sweetness-levels.They stock Eastern European products that I was very happy to find in the neighborhood.

I had a very strange experience in this store. I entered, looked at the different products displayed on the shelves, and took from the shelf 2 bottles of Tarczyn juice (300ml each). Holding them in my hand I proceeded to pay, but to my surprise, the lady behind the counter asked me to show her my bag ('sac'), as if I were a thief. It was bizarre.

My favourite doughnuts in town. They also have amazing cheesecakes, fruitcakes and other great things. their pastries do not have as much sugar as the regular store bough which is a plus because you get all the other awesome flavors. Usually other stores put too much sugar to mask poor quality ingredients not this place.The customer service is also very kind and helpful.They also offer a variety of cold cuts and sandwiches.
