Ate here about three years ago whilst in the area for work and really enjoyed it. Just took my wife for lunch while passing through. Now that we are home in another province, my wife advises that Fred’s served us the best chowder (fish stew) that we had during the two week road trip. The yeast rolls served alongside were still warm and evoked memories of her grandmother’s. You win guys!

We had a fantastic evening! There was a large group of us taking advantage of the All you can eat Fish and Chips" while we enjoyed Anica Anica Anica Live performance! Thru out this time food was delicious and staff were top notch!! And of course the evening's entertainment was incredible!"

Fred's is a clean, spacious family style restaurant with lots of windows for a bright atmosphere. There were two servers on when we went there for lunch and they were responsive and friendly. We had the Ultimate Pizza and the cheeseburger respectively. The pizza crust was homemade and the toppings were fresh. The cheeseburger was also good and came with nice crispy fries. We ordered gravy to go with the fries and were pleased with the generous helping. Recommend. :)

We took the family here for the first time today and it will not be our last visit. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was comfortable. The warm buns were a welcomed surprise. Excellent experience and would definitely recommend. Try the curly fries.

This review should be titled where's the beef" This mess was supposed to be a donair on a pizza shell. Three strips of thinly sliced meat under and inch thick of messy sweet sauce. I complained to take it off the bill which instead I as only offered a free pie which I reluctantly agreed. The coconut pie was decent at least."

Ate the hamburger too quickly to take a picture of it. It was delicious!! It’s definitely a seafood centric place, but there are other options as well. One of the best parts of my meal was their house-battered onions rings (pictured). Crispy and delicious. Lots and lots of seating, which is a necessity being in a high-traffic tourist area. Definitely recommend!

Delicious Seafood! So fresh, big portions! We were a large group and everything was brought to us quickly, hot, and fresh. We will be going back very soon! The seafood platter was a big hit, but the waitress recommended the seafood stirfry and it was amazing!
