Fun In The Sun Ice Cream Parlour

This is a great little specialty shop - so much so that my wife and I visited Fun in the Sun twice in the same afternoon.There are a lot of terrific retro treats here, and the Kawartha Dairy ice cream that is served is not only delicious but a great value for the price! The bubble tea is really good too!The prices of the items are overall very reasonable, considering that it is a specialty shop, and the retro music that fills the area is really enjoyable.The owner, Mitch, is a great guy. He is genuinely friendly and engaging, and I really enjoyed conversing with him about retro food and beverages, music, Southampton and even Toronto, where we both grew up.Do not go to or through Southampton without visiting Fun in the Sun. Fun little ice cream shop. Lots of neat speciality candies as well and a large assortment of hard scooped and soft serve ice cream.

This is the best place to eat ice cream in Port Elgin and South Hampton area. The owner Mitch is very nice person, always smiling and chatting with customers and he is never tired... The quality of ice cream is very good and in summer there is always a line. This is not just ice cream parlour, it is also a small store for essentials. One scope is $3.50 with generous quantity and you can have half and half scope for two flavours which is kind of cool like ice cream. You have choice between Waffle cone, cone cup and just cup. You can also enjoy milk shake of your favourite ice cream.

The gentleman working was an absolute treat. They have ice cream, milk shakes, bubble tea, and frappes. Everyone in our group was very happy with what they ordered, and the prices were very reasonable.
