I go to her every 6 weeks for a facial and to get my brows and nails done.I’ve done the microdermabrasion facial, brow tinting, basic facial, manicure, and hydralessenceSince the covid restrictions came into play she has gone beyond the government regulations to ensure that her place is clean and hygienic.

I have been going to Svengali’s for over 30 years now. I only let Shiraz cut my hair and drive all the way from Barrie for my cuts. His attention to detail is second to none. My hair looks amazing EVERY time!

I have been coming to the Svengali salon for over 30 years. After I moved house I tried other salons but always came back to Svengali. The staff are lovely, the atmosphere is relaxed and most importantly, my hair is cut to perfection. Several times I have received compliments and people ask me for the name of the salon. I am more than happy to recommend Svengali's!!

I've been going to Svengali Salon for years and it's always a great experience. I've tried several different stylists there simply to experience the differences between seniors and juniors. It's like going to visit family when I go there. Everyone is so friendly, they pamper everyone that goes there and they do a great job. They never seem to rush anyone, they are very personable and I highly recommend Svengali. It's obvious why they were voted #1 Hair Salon in Markham.I've tried different cheap salons and barbers, but I keep coming back to Svengali.

Annie is amazing! The spa is very hygienic and clean and has fantastic service. Annie is knowledgeable, professional and detail oriented. I would highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for a beautiful spa experience and excellent service in Markham. Other spas nearby don’t even compare.I had several services done and each one was perfect. The facial left my skin rejuvenated and clear, I didn’t even have any breakouts afterward which usually happens. My manicure and pedicure was really neatly done and Annie did some beautiful nail art for me too. The pedicure left my feet super soft and clean!! The brow lamination was a new service that I hadn’t had done before and I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome! It’s a must try !! The waxing was pain free and quickly doneOverall Annie and this new spa are a must try. Once you’ve gone once you will surely return! Ask for annie!!!

I have been going to Svengali for over 30 years. They never fail to amaze me on keeping totally up to date on cuts, colours, and styles.I went a couple of weeks ago, and the cleaning and sanitizing that goes on between customers is ‘overkill’, they have gone completely above and beyond any Ontario guidelines.Christina is fabulous! Again, she has kept up on cuts and styles like I’ve never seen! She cuts your hair, styles it, and then snips away endlessly any hairs that do not meet her high standards. Prepare to spend more time, as she is that perfectionist!If you have never been ‘Svengalied’, treat yourself!

A tall young woman washed my hair and asked for my name. Did not extend hers. I liked my hair-wash with her but it ended with me realizing I will be rinsing my hair again sooner than later to remove the hair products still on my scalp and hair.A senior stylist named Jocene cut my hair, and cut to perfection she did. She has her own technique and quirks, to which I had no issues with because I am very pleased with how my cut turned out. Jocene was very attentive, kind, and wonderful.

My daughter and I visit this spa many times. We love this place, it is very clean and very professional. Annie is very friendly and very skilled with waxing, threading and facials. 10/10 recommend everyone giving this place a try!

My mom recommended this place to me after Alex has fixed her hair from a previous salon that did a horrible job. I have to say it exceeded my expectations, it was definitely worth the 40 minute drive. I previously had lavender hair but I needed a change cause the upkeep was too ridiculous and it faded into way too many colours ( I had lavender, blonde, gray, and blue just from fading). However, Jackie was able to get me to a beautiful white blonde colour that I have been trying to achieve for a year's now and she did it in one sitting. I highly recommend this salon!!!
