Treatment was awesome. The staff felt a bit overwhelmed and lethargic though. I hope they get respite.

Absolutely amazing dentist. Detailed, very caring and very affordable. Dr. Patel takes his time to explain everything. He gave me options for my tooth but most importantly his listens patiently and took all my concerns and fears into consideration. The staff is also super nice and caring.

My entire family has been with Lakeshore West Dental for almost 20 years. Dr. Patel is absolutely amazing, super gentle, always polite and a true professional. He is great with adults and also possesses a unique quality - he is great with kids. My kids since there the earliest years enjoyed there visits to Dr. Patel. As to me, what i really appreciate at this clinic - Dr.Patel would never recommend any unnecessary procedures, will educate and lead through the entire process and will allow the patients to make decisions they are comfortable with. I also have to mention Magdalena, she is a dental hygienist and Lakeshore West Dental and a real fairy. Last time i had my teeth cleaned, i was so comfortable and relaxed, I almost fell asleep. Highly recommend this clinic for adults and especially for kids! Love you, guys

Absolutely professional dental practitioner who keeps himself up to date with teaching at school of dentistry. He is very to approachable and has excellent clinical approach. Dr. Patel and his team have been my dental team since I was a little kid. They've always made me and my family feel welcome and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a family friendly dentist.

I recently just started going to see Dr Patel. My son had a lot of tooth decay and needed several extractions and multiple fillings to be done. On our first visit to see Dr Patel my son was feeling very anxious and worried about the appointment.Dr Patel and his staff made my son feel comfortable and calm and explained everything to him. The extraction went amazing well, my son didn’t feel the freezing or procedure at all!! The appointment couldn’t went better.My son actually wants to go to the dentist now!!! Thank you to Dr Patel and his wonderful staff for being so caring and compassionate and for the exceptional treatment we received. We are now full time patients of the clinic.I would highly recommend Lakeshore West Dental to anyone who wants quality dental care!!!!

We had hoped and waited for you to respond to our prompt contact call to resolve this issue in a more private setting but unfortunately you did not return our call and chose to publicize your concerns.We feel obligated, for the sake of our other valued clients on government assistance, to respond so that those who may read your review have clarity on our new temporary policy. Most of our effected clients have responded favorably and with understanding. Most understand that unlike many offices in the high cost GTA market we have been accepting assistance clients despite the below cost reimbursement rate of these plans. Most understand that the government has not raised rates for at least 30 years and so offices like ours, that have been accepting these clients, have been subsiding the cost to deliver treatment for many years. We have done this out of a sense of duty, to give back to our community, and we have enjoyed the gratitude of those who have benefited. Unfortunately, during this very difficult time where PPE costs have sky rocketed and social distancing has reduced our appointment capacity, we have had to take the very difficult and painful action of temporarily suspending non essential services under these plans. Of course, and as we initially explained to you, we are happy to provide service to anyone, regardless of demography, at our regular rate. All of our other effected clients have graciously accepted this reality with unwavering support. We regret we weren't able to help you better understand our difficult position. We wish you all the best regardless.”I promise you, not one of your “clients” is on odsp because as soon as they reveal they are, you drop them. No one is understanding of your plight, ppl on odsp know the struggle having lived in poverty with their same rates not increasing in 30 years. Dentists gauge private insurance in the first place, I’m certain thus leaving some room for odsp clients. They are ppl and need care too. Your response is reprehensible and not at all inclusive of the community you service. Guaranteed not one odsp recipient is understanding of being tossed aside like less than human so you can gauge everyone else in already over priced services. They allow a cleaning what once a year and cover some emergency dental? Ooo your poor bottom line!!. I was in search a new dentist but how an establishment treats their most needy and vulnerable tells me everything I need to know.

Last week I went to Lakeshore Dental, in hopes that Dr. Patel could fix my two front teeth which another dentist had bonded in the wrong colour, and had changed the shape, so that they did not match. Dr. Patel was the essence of patience. He listened to me, told me what my options were, answered my questions, and then we worked on which colour would be best. The result was amazing! I am just so THRILLED with the way they look, and cannot thank him and his assistant enough for being so patient and kind.
