They have 3 employees that play Pokemon Go and are on blue team, they will literally hit anyone out of that Pokemon Gym beside their office for 8 hours straight and even there after, the minute you put something in, they hit you out.They attacked my friends Pokemon for 1 hour and 14 minutes just to get hers out, that's 1 hour and 14 minutes of them not working....They seem to spend more time playing that game then they do working, not surprised considering how poor their services are, probably cause they are too busy playing a game, rather then doing their job.

Customer service SUCKS!! Especially the billing department. Constant screw up and don’t ever expect a call back. As for internet is fine and mostly reliable. Considering ditching the company with better service

There services are bad, internet is a joke and their employees are unprofessional and do poor installment jobs, which I have witnessed with my own eyes.They seem to spend more time playing Pokemon Go at the office then they do their jobs.3 employees there play Pokemon go and are on Blue team, they just spend their day hitting people out of the shoppers Gym minutes after someone puts something in, they do it for 8+ hours and even after hours.Maybe they should spend less time playing a game and more time doing their jobs and their work ethic would improve.

They are awful! My mom has been paying for about 6 months with no internet 90% of the time! They don’t care to help! I wouldn’t recommend them to anybody! They were good and affordable at first, then they jacked the prices, with no customer service at all!! We have about 10 routers, they keep sending us to fix the issues and they don’t work properly when plugged in

We just got a tower installed on our property and are super excited for the people in our area to have access to it!! We currently have data limits in our area and the internet isn’t cheap either. I love that they offer unlimited data at a decent price!! Every experience I’ve had speaking with one of their employees has been excellent either through email, phone call or in person!! Very happy with their service so far and will send in another review once things are working :D

Northern Rural Net bought out our local internet provider beginning May 2023. We noticed an immediate internet capping of download and upload rates. We can’t continue to operate like this and probably will sign up with Starlink shortly once it becomes available. Not all of us are uneducated enough to have the wool pulled over our eyes when it comes to using the internet on a daily basis for business use.

we have been a customer for two years now. the initial connection work was done by Bell and the service was great. I had some concerns about the old modem but now we have an updated Bell modem. The folks in the local office bend over backwards to be helpful...not something we usually experience in Mississauga for utilities. Very Pleased

When I first signed on with them a year ago with a promo I was happy with the service and found them available .Then when I was given incorrect billing information and called to get it corrected, then denied me the money owed to me, stating that the info they emailed me was in error! They refused to honor it even for a month. Several phone attempts that were left for escalation and no one ever got back to me. I was on hold the last time and no one was available" message came on even though I was first in line. I don't know what issues they are having but they will lose a lot of customers at this rate

Posting this as a soon to be former customer. I have DSL service with NRN for the last 18 months. The internet is extremely slow, very unreliable (lose service frequently), and very overpriced for what they offer. Problems are compounded by impossible to reach tech support at Northern Rural. Phone calls to tech support get dropped after waiting on hold for minimum 15 minutes each time. After waiting on hold, calls occasionally get transferred to a voicemail where calls are seldom if ever returned. When tech support does by chance answer my calls, I always end up dealing with Bell tech support in addition to NRN. The problem is with Bell phone cables between my home and nearest hub. I started out with good service for first few months but now they are even more impossible to deal with than Bell which is saying a lot!!! Been without internet now for 5 days and problem still not fixed. As a person that reliably pays my $82 month on time for service, I'm sick of them not providing decent service... or any service. I try to support our local businesses and services, but I am horribly disappointed and fed up with this ongoing fiasco.

Terrible service, despite only living 4km from the town where they provide service, they said they can’t service to my house. They claim that their towers can’t reach there, what kind of Ancient Towers are they using? And there postal code lookup online doesn’t work, so just a bunch of wasted time
