I wish I had another option when we needed a geothermal system. It has been a consistent problem - our energy bills are high, they have terrible customer service. We had to call multiple times to get an appointment or get someone to come help, when the heating system wasn't working and it's cold.I do not recommend Van Hee.

Slow, marginally responsive. In the end, they could not help me with a product that they sold me.

Best thing I ever did was have Van Hee install geothermal at my home! I was on oil, had some electric baseboard (in an addition), and also burned some wood in the winter. In the summer I had 3 window air conditioners to cool only part of my house.When the oil furnace began to fail, I looked at running natural gas for heating with a whole house air conditioning unit, replacing the existing system and adding whole house air conditioning or going with geothermal.When I spoke with Van Hee and ran my own numbers, in the long run it was much better to go with the geo.My system was installed in April of 2011 - I've had no problems, saved about $4,000/year (remember - oil heat! and yes, I tracked the bills to make sure) and got the benefit of the Federal Tax Credit.The installers were professional, the job site was left immaculate each day and the company sticks by its long standing record of customer satisfaction. My only regret was not doing it sooner!

Van Hee Geothermal has been nothing short of terrible to work with. They are unresponsive to phone calls or emails, they are lacking in skills when it comes to troubleshooting and they have an extremely limited staff which means it takes weeks to have someone service a repair.Their install technicians are solid, helpful and competent but their management is useless. The owner is not helpful and appears to have the attitude of take it or leave it, we have other business.I did a majority of the troubleshooting on some of our recent repairs and had to constantly call their office to give suggestions and get updates on how to manage the problem and solution.They ordered a new unit for us and expected an 8 week lead time. 18 weeks later we have not received a single update from them about our unit despite multiple phone calls and messages left with the front desk for management.Absolutely Horrendous.

good people bad service, the RGE bills is alot higher now compared to my gas fire unit. geothemal is supported to save me money not otherwise. regret to do business with vanhee.

Outstanding service. They do not push for, unnecessary expensive repairs. They on km y explain what is going on and what would be useful and they never recommend or push the candela or Mercedes! An outstanding company that can be totally trusted. NOW AINT THAT RARE IN THIS PERIOD TIME!!!!!! OF SUPREME LIARS of the gop kind!

I WILL use this company for my future Geothermal needs. The Service Mechanic, Treven, is incredibly knowledge and well versed in this profession. He is kind, patient, and was thoughtful in explaining my Geothermal System to me. He serviced the system in a professional and timely fashion while exhibiting respect for the system, my space, and myself. Van Hee Mechanical is very reliable and professional all around.

The owner retired and now you're dealing with irresponsible company. We paid for new vents and regulating the temperature in our 3,000 sf office space it wasn't' done correctly. When we call them they keep making excused not to come back...
