Dr K Attwell-Pope, Neurologist

For context: I work at a medical clinic.I spoke to the receptionist on behalf of a mutual patient, needing to acquire the patient's records for consistency of care but my faxes were being rejected. The staff member interrupted me to complain that they are 'tired of sending all these files' to different offices. Last I checked, that was their job? It concerns me that patient care is not more of a priority, regardless of administrative inconvenience. Really disappointing and unhelpful. This person refused to take the time to send me the file at the patient's request, even after receiving a signed release of information form. Upon doing some further digging, I found that the VAST majority of reviews for Dr. Hegedus' practice (see ratemds.com) mention problems, mistreatment and dissatisfaction with the staff/reception. I felt compelled to write my experience here. Very concerning.

Great doctor, but never there

Absolutely the most educated, up to date, personable, neurologist! Straight talker, not a pill pusher. Gets to the root of the problem and then discussions options and expectations.

Very knowledgeable and informative and her staff is equally as great. Always keeping me up to date.
