Unpleasant experience for a first time order. I was hoping to support a local florist when ordering sympathy flowers for a friend who just lost their father. I am not from the Newmarket/Aurora area, so I looked up Blooming Wellies and thought their arrangements looked beautiful while being a local business and not a chain. I proceeded to order online on December 21st eve and received confirmation of the online order with confirmation in the email saying it would be delivered on December 23rd. All contact information for both myself and the receiving party was provided. After the 23rd had passed, I gave some leniency as to see if they were delivered because of the Christmas hustle. I called on December 24th and left a voicemail just to see if the arrangement had been successfully delivered as I could not get through the phone line. I followed up with an email to support the voicemail just in case that was easier for a reply.  I then got an email response from Blooming Wellies on the 27th saying the delivery was confirmed. Something felt off as my friend is usually pretty responsive when it comes to receiving and I had not been contacted as we have already been in conversation. During a time of grieving especially around Christmas I didn't want her to receive the flowers a significant time after. I decided to ask my friend if she received any arrangement and she said she did not receive it. I then tried contacting the shop on the 29th morning, left another voicemail and followed up with an email to explain. All of a sudden, my friend texted me at 8pm on the 29th saying the arrangement was now delivered. Extremely odd coincidence that all of a sudden the flowers have been delivered. I still have not been given a call back or email back to respond or acknowledge any sort of error. I'm very disappointed with the lack of communication and acknowledgement. I understand mistakes happen, and Christmas is a busy season, but a simple phone call would have gone a long way where I did not want the flowers to be delivered after the selected date and not to mention a week after. I chose to spend a decent amount of money to help support a friend in need, but received a poor experience.

I turned 60 on 2022/08/30 and my niece send me flowers from this seller. I honestly never received a bouquet of flowers of this quality. Not only was the arrangement out of this world but the flowers themselves were the best quality ever. Fresh flowers!!!! I am so Happy, I thought it was the least I could do is letting other people know. GREAT JOB!

We placed a very last minute order for a large funeral arrangement & the loveliest woman assured me they were dropping them at the funeral home that evening. Such a beautiful arrangement & incredible service, we are never disappointed with Blooming Wellies!
