Dogs Chattin Daycare

Great atmosphere, staff are very friendly and understanding.Very clean and tidy, even smells nice when you walk in compared to most other dog-daycare that smell of pee and other things...The floor inside is even made of a special turf so the dogs don't hurt the soles of thier feet, where most dog- daycares have little to no thought into this like haveing cement floors.Would definitely recommend checking this place out!

I was taking my dog Winston here and at first they were great, then my dog came home on two separate occasions with injuries that I was never told about. Luckily he did not need vet attention. I get that things happen but I want to know about it. I always check my dog after day care days, which is why I noticed his injuries. They did not come from anywhere else. I am disappointed with this company and their lack of attention to the welfare of the animals in their care. They should have noticed his injures and told me when I went to pick him up. Before I would have recommended them to anyone but now I will be warning against going here. Also disappointing they delete posts on Facebook that are less then favourable to them which is very icky. I am not here to argue with the owner as I’ve seen him do on others posts I just wanted to post my experience with this company. Thanks for reading and I hope it helps people considering bringing their pets here.January 2022, update - My dog has fears of things that he would only have come in contact with at this daycare. He is not the same dog he was when he started there and while I have no proof, I know something happened to him here. Forever concerned about the welfare of the animals that attend this daycare. Keep your animals safe at home.

The staff was friendly, helpful and super great with my waaay to sketchy dog. They clipped her nails and trimmed her toe fur. Thanks for the great experience!!

Our dog Theo was so uncomfortable with the humidity. Dogs Chattin fit him in the next day for a grooming. Did the exact cut we wanted. Brought him home and family said it was the best grooming he had. He is small and was there only 1 hour. Staff is friendly. Dog wasn't upset on pick up. This place is near my home and will go back for sure.

Our pup absolutely loves Dogs Chattin! She comes home exhausted, and my favourite part - she actually smells nice whens she comes home (unlike other daycares where we frequently had to bath her after bringing her home)Joe and his staff are all amazing and always have something funny to tell us about Lily's day there. We love knowing we can leave her in their hands - in a safe, fun and clean facility!

I originally gave this business 1 star (I would give zero if I could) and didnt leave a written review because I didnt feel it was necessary. However, after reading the very snarky response I got, here is why this business gets 1 star; I decided not to take my dogs here after inquiring about the services. There were specific questions I had asked to ensure the safety and care for my dogs while in the establishment and I couldn't get a straight answer. Not only was I left wondering if my dogs would be safe there (considering the amount of money it costs, there should be top notch service for ALL dogs) I was spoken to in a completely unprofessional manner and with a condescending tone. I won't do business with someone who is blatenly rude to their potential customers.

The staff are amazing. Negan gets so excited to see all his friends. I would highly recommend if you are looking for daycare for your pups. They also do grooming and nail trims which is a big help to have the same service on site.

Took my pup there to get her nails done, the lady doing it cut the quick, didn’t give me anything to stop the bleeding. Told me she wasn’t a groomer and it wasn’t her job…..why the hell would you tell me you could do my dogs nails????? My pup is now traumatized every time we take her to get them done now! Horrible experience. I would give minus stars if I could

Avoid this place. The last time my dog was picked up there he was hiding under the desk. We were told that he got into a fight but not until days later. we were not called when it happened and not given any details. Constant staff changes and poor management. Not a safe place for your pet.

I'm very pleased with my dogs first boarding experience at Dogs Chattin. When I walked in and she was relaxing on a blanket in the office instead of being timid and nervous in the active day care area or all alone in a kennel area, I knew the staff had taken the time and care to really get to know my dog and what makes her happy! We will be going to Dogs Chattin for all of our boarding needs!
