Beautiful bridge, to cross over and to cross under! Cyclists, be careful for traffic, and pedestrians please be aware at intersections. Cars can be crazy!

I visited UNESCO-designated Rideau Canal many times. It is very well maintained, and passing of boats are quite impressive. However, they could automate the operation of the locks in order to reduce operational cost, i.e., taxpayers's money, please. The Pretoria Bridge has good view of the canal, but traffic is heavy.

This is a bridge. The canal is scenic and a pleasure to walk on. This bridge is part of that. But not what I would consider a landmark worth mentioning in any way.

We stayed at an AirBNB the house was magnificent. It an older styled home with an eclectic style (someone must collect art and lamps) Its a quick hop to the Rideau Canal and alot of fun times were had here.

The river was completely frozen. People was skating all over the river. Nice place to spend a sunny day.

It's a bridge. It's got tunnely parts you can walk through and avoid dealing with vehicle traffic (though you can also take the street and deal with traffic if you want). It's a nice scenic area, there's pigeons during the day, bats at night. Great spot for photos and appreciating water, biking walking etc. Probably also great if you've got a boat, but I don't so I don't know. :)
