Tiny Hoppers - Daycare Newmarket South

My daughter goes to tiny hoppers for a year now. It’s literally a home away from home. Clean, friendly staff and the new supervisor Momma Maryam has over 39 years of experience. The owner Ms Nimet , personally knows every child by name in the centre. Would suggest to all new parents and families. Best care given.

My daughter has been attending this daycare for over a year now, first registering at 18 months. The staff and director at the time were great during the transition for her into a social environment (she was born during COVID) while also supporting her in meeting her learning milestones. Since the start, we were provided a package and discussion on the milestones for each level (toddler, Preschool 1 and preschool 2) which has allowed me to continue to support my daughters growth at home. The new director, Maryam has been phenomenal since her start, ensuring she knows every child's name as well as the parent and having a two-way dialogue at every instance of meeting. My daughter's teachers in pre-school 1, especially Athanasia, is a god send. She's warm and friendly and always greets my daughter everyday outside of the class and brings her in. I travel often for work and both her and the other teachers ensure she remains emotionally supported while there during my days of travel. I have seen a tremendous growth in my daughter's social and speech milestones since the move to pre-school 1, including potty training. I applaud each and every teacher in that place for their dedication and positive mindset they bring everyday!Secondly, I would like to take a moment to address the 3+ google reviews that have been added over the past week, which is likely due to one individual. I understand parents can feel frustrated, emotional and helpless when something occurs, but this is clearly a pursuit of defamation on a reputable place that has been a pillar in this community and has and continues to be a pivotal partner in many children's start in their emotional and critical thinking development. I would caution those reading those reviews and advise to take all the reviews as a whole, visit the daycare and follow your gut instinct. I had done my due diligence on many places and landed on this place for their flexibility (offering part-time), transition plan for toddlers and their continued engagement of my daughter's needs.I wholeheartedly support the teachers, director and owner of Tiny Hopper's Newmarket South and would recommend for anyone looking to take at least the first step of booking a tour and a meeting to review the place.

My son started since 2018- 2021 he learned so much at this daycare from his abcs to his 123s and even got taught to put on all his snow gear by himself ☺️ the teachers were very supportive and patient with him while he learned potty training!! I can’t recommended this daycare enough they are soo great with the children! My son still attends this daycare for March breaks and summers they do such fun activities with the children!! All staff are welcoming as soon as you step into the centre!!! It’s really homee away from home

My 2-year-old son's favourite word has become daycare! This tells a lot about how much fun he has at the facility. We started as part-time but knowing he wanted to spend more time there, started full-time recently. I definitely recommend here!!

Today , I went to Tiny Hoppers in Newmarket looking for a daycare in that area for my friends son. it was during their nap time we arrived to get a tour @ 12 pm . After we were buzzed in as i walked in the narrow hallway with rooms on each side , i heard a screaming sound coming from one of the dark rooms . A child was laying down screaming as the teacher on top of him holding the blanket down on him yelling ”stop stop enough “ while another woman was tapping his back in a very aggressive way . I knocked on the door window and shook my finger ”dont do that not okay” . The lady name charla who was doing that ran out nervously claiming ”the child is autistic and needs a heated blanket thats why and that they have to tap him to sleep”.I immidietly left and the owner came outside started apologizing and trying to justify what happened.I told her I will be reporting to the ministry of education and childcare act.

It’s so sad to see this parent who is posting all the reviews every 10 minutes. This is clearly Defamation. I have seen this parent clearly speaking to the director saying how happy she is that her daughter enjoys every moment of being at Tiny hoppers. She was praising the director and the staff.

The best daycare hands down. Not only does this place provide the most educational, safe, affordable, and positive environment, they actually care about your children and value them. My child has developed so much since he started at 1.5 years old. Jennifer and Kristina are the best !!! They provide so much care, love, and attention to every child. My son started to potty train from attending here as well and learns so much everyday. I am always so confident with my son being there. They keep you up to date everyday and I never worry when he’s in their care. I appreciate them so much!

Tiny Hoppers has been amazing for our family. The staff are incredibly kind, helpful and fun! They really care about each child individually. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a childcare centre that looks out for the specific needs of each child.

Tinny hoppers the best place and daycare for your children. My daughter goes to this daycare for almost more than a year she loves being there she loves her teachers charla and Kristen very kind and caring teachers. My daughter is a special need and she needs one on one care and the care and attention this centre gives her is so amazing I am so glad and thankful that I found this wonderful place for her I thank her teachers for their love and dedication. And the centre has a wonderful owner Nimet very nice person. And OMG the supervisor Ms Maryam the loveliest person with a great personality and loving, caring with a very soft and kind heart. She takes care and thinks about all children like her own child she tells me once u leave ur child here she is my child that makes me so satisfied and the way Maryam goes out of her way to help me and my daughter to get as much as help and support as possible is commendable and I am so thankful godbless Maryam. About Maryam and her caring nature as mach I say is not enough.if I could I would give 100 stars ⭐️ to this centre and it staff.

Terrible experience for my child. First week got hospitalized. Kept her home for a week. Returned her the week after got a cut and bruised on her head. And different stories of what happened. They promote an App to update you on your child that never gets updated. Not the best experience to say the least. I want to be at work and feel comfortable that my child is being taken care
