Stores staff have major issues,there's a old woman with white hair and glasses she actually did stuff with a little boy but I won't get into that and there's trans guy or girl which I don't care about but when I was uncomfortable with the things he was saying and preferred not to continue talking he started saying I was stealing so yea like I said ISSUES!! Over priced, Damaged and expired food!! Keep RECEIPTS!! you'll need them!!

Started going there after being dissatisfied with the Superstore. On the plus side, Sobeys has a very good produce section, nearly as good as Pete's but with much better prices. Except in the dead of winter, they have potted herbs and hydroponic lettuce. Their selection of plant-based alternatives is good. Also, this Sobeys has always had a strong floral shop. Nice little, well designed shopping carts.On the negative side, the layout is bizarre. Once you're out of the produce and meat/seafood sections, literally anything could be anywhere. Shopping is like a scavenger hunt. Minor negatives: 1. a few everyday items are, strangely, not carried, i.e., vanilla extract, bird seed; 2. there's a little eating area at the front that it appears they don't want anyone to use i.e., try getting a coffee :-(All-in-all, friendly (for the most part), diverse staff and appears to be a well-managed store.

I would say the renovation is quite successful. Yes the prices still tend to be higher than Superstore on Barrington but with plenty of discounts and the new nicely appointed interior space Sobeys can lure customers away from its main rival in the area.

Friendly staff, always clean when I visit, and has quiet hours where the announcements and radio dont play or are tured down. Rarely out of the things I need. Good deals. Student discounts on Tuesdays.

Since they eliminated most of the cashiers and made the checkout lanes much smaller it's become stressful to patronize this store. It was much better before they installed the awkward layout and self-checkout terminals. Overall the shopping experience has been harmed by the renovation and lack of customer support.

Cashier was rude. Not well signed for anyone new to the store as to where to cash out. Asked 3 different workers where magazines were and no one knew but didn't find out for me. Terrible experience.

I've been shopping at this location for years... and I find the new lay-out after the renovations awful!!! I found four different egg displays, and only one of the displays had the eggs I buy.I've had several occasions where I could not find a simple item after 20 minutes like nail clippers, and batteries... but luckily the employees are friendly, and very helpful. I definitely miss the old lay-out.

Whenever I can't find something at other grocery stores, for some reason I can always find it at this Sobeys eg. frozen cranberries, vanilla eggnog, Christmas tea, etc.). It may be because I usually go after lunchtime, but their sushi never looks fresh. They also usually have cute plants.

Usually I love the Deli section at this location. However lately the food from the deli has been sub par. And when be careful when you purchase a greek salad from the deli, as they never have any sort of Bell peppers in them.
