Chartwell Isabella Retirement Residence

Gillian and JenniferThe hardest part of assisting our loved one to move out of her home was finding a place we were confident would meet her medical and day to day needs. We looked at several places and it was the staff at Chartwell Isabella that gave us the confidence that we had found the correct place for her. Great advice and help from both Ami and Stephen helped us make these hard decisions. And our experience to date with all the Chartwell staff has confirmed we made the right decision for her.

My parents moved in to Chartwell Isabella two weeks ago and can't say enough about the outstanding staff, services and activities. Last night I was invited for dinner and our server, Sabrina was kind, attentive and very efficient. The meal was delicious and as home-cooked as I've ever had one. After dinner, we were treated to an enjoyable antique car show in the parking lot. Thank you Amy for your care and kindness.

We love coming to Chartwell Isabella to visit my grandparents. Staff are wonderful and food is delicious. Maria is amazing… she remembers everyone’s name and is always so happy. She is a wonderful asset to the Chartwell community.

If I could give Chartwell and the staff more stars I would. My mom moved to Chartwell on April 3, 2023. All of the staff been wonderful and accommodating during this huge transition. Every staff member has been kind, helpful and happy. I had the pleasure of having Easter dinner with my family and my mom at Chartwell, so I can tell you the food is delicious, and the service was great. My mom has not eaten this well in many years. We started this journey 1 1/2 years ago. Ami was our first contact, and has continued to be helpful, and supportive in answering questions and addressing concerns. We met Steve a few months ago, and his kind calm demeanour has helped to ease the anxiety that may mom has experienced. I have not been able to meet all staff, or get to know all your names, but I certainly intend to do so, as you are all wonderful. To the staff that I have gotten to know (Ami, Steve, Tracey, Victor, Tripthi, Leslie and Colleen), thank you so much for all you do. It is a great feeling to know that your loved one is living in a safe and happy place.

Although my mum was only a resident for 2 weeks, we both loved everything about the residence! The food is delicious, the staff are so kind and friendly, the care is exemplary, and the units are spacious. The furnishings throughout the residence are of high quality, and certainly make you feel right at home. Wonderful place!

I did a placement here and had nothing but good things to say about this residence. The staff are attentive and personable, creating a positive and welcoming environment for residents and visitors. The facility is tidy and well-decorated, offering many programs and activities. Chartwell Isabella is a great place to look into if you are considering retirement living.

My mother Dona was lonely and depressed when she first came to Chartwell-Isabella five years ago. The residents and staff became her family and they were important to her until the very end. I’m so glad that she was able to be as part of this community. Busy adult-children can not give seniors the kind of companionship and interesting programs that this wonderful facility provided.

Great staff! Sabrina full time cook is passionate and caring about everything she does. Every experience with her, she's gone above and beyond to help.

My parents recently moved into Chartwell Isabella and so far are enjoying their new home. Staff have been extremely helpful during the transition. A wide variety of social activities are available and the meals are good. I feel they are in a safe and comfortable environment with staff who care about their well being.
