Boyd North Parking Lot

The parking lot is open now. Hike to McMichael Art Gallery is just shy of 5km. About 4 small hills, a few bridges and a nice wide path or pressed gravel.

Parking lot fills up quickly get here before noon. It's nice you can hike into Kortright Centre for Conservation.

An excellent parking lot that gives you free access to the nearby trails.

Amazing scenic trails. There are multiple trails . You can either walk straight ahead from the entrance, or you can take left from the entrance to go underneath the bridge on Rutherford road which would take you to the main Boyd park. You can see the river in both of the trails. You need to go early to get the parking spot. But trust me it’s worth it.

I have to preface this review with the note that this is a lot more than a parking lot.This is the mid point of a beautiful and sometimes challenging trail which goes about 4km North from this point towars Bindertwine and 3 km south towards Boyd Conservation area.Going north you're faced with a steep uphill path that makes you regret your decision to embark upon this challenge mid point, however once you've conquered the hill, you're rewarded with a beautiful view on your left of the valley and a downhill slope.The trail is relatively busy and there arent too many trails that come off the main trail so you get stuck with/behind/infront of people occasionally.I should say that if you go south from the parking lot, it's a much easier walk and bike ride, mostly flat, around a stream, several bridges and overall a great trail

Beautiful trail. At the begging you can really hear the highways noise but as you go further it gets really nice and quiet.We didn’t except it to be as long…. I didn’t have my watch to count my kilométrées but it was a few hours trip:) will definitely come back when it’s not icy anymore♥️

The parking lot is quite small and not very well maintained. But from here you can hike north to McMichael, south to Boyd, and east to Kortright!

This is a very beautiful trail park with many activities to chose from, whether to walk your dog, bike, cross country skiing, and more! The parking lot is small, and gets filled up very quickly. The trails are a must see and very scenic.

It is a very nice and peaceful nature! It really have lots of fun hills to walk! Just not much parking space.
