Kao John T S Dr

My experience with this clinic, dr John kao, Nurse Sue and many other staff was simply amazing. So amazing I had to come write a review. They made the whole process from the my initial consultation, to my surgery so easy! The morning of, I arrived, the male nurse (I forgot his name unfortunately) was the most kind hearted gentleman ever! He could tell how nervous I was and from the bottom of his heart tried to make me feel comfortable. The process was surprisingly fast, I was in surgery at 9:45am and by 12:30pm I slowly began waking up. Again, the male nurse was so attentive making sure I was okay and comfortable once I woke up. After about an hour I was allowed to get picked up to go home! Sue provides you her number so you can contact her when needed which is fantastic. I’ve had my one week follow up, as well as my one month and everything has gone so smoothly I couldn’t be more happy! Everything looks and feels great. Thank you so much, I highly highly recommend coming here! 10/10.

Dr. Kao is extremely professional and very caring at the same time. I’m so lucky to have been referred to Dr.Kao by my family doctor for a procedure. Dr. Kao sincerely listens to his patients’ concerns and addresses them very patiently. Dr. Kao and his office admins were very responsive whenever I had questions prior to the surgery and even after the surgery. My experience with respect to the follow-up appointments with Dr. Kao and in home nurse visits during the recovery process has been very smooth and timely. I’m very happy with the surgery outcome. I would definitely and highly recommend Dr. Kao!

My first point of contact was Liz (office manager) and she was absolutely wonderful to communicate with. Once I met Dr. Kao I felt completely comfortable and I knew I would be in great hands. Dr. Kao is very meticulous and is truly passionate about his expertise. Immediately I trusted his vision and abilities 100%.and my decision was easily made . Dr. Kao and the entire team of nurses/anaesthetist are beyond excellent! and took great care of me. I highly recommended Dr. Kao for any of your surgical needs.

Doctor John Kao is the best! Where do I begin.... It first started years ago when I went to see him for a breast reduction. He asked me if I was having more children (yes) because it may be best to wait until we are done (for long term results). I was very pleased with how honest he was as I only wanted to have this surgery once and we all know after having children your breast can expand/sag. Sometimes I find doctors/surgeons can be pushy but not doctor kao. So four years later I returned back for a breast reduction and abdominoplasty. The process from start to finish was AMAZINGGG! Each visit I had with him was very comfortable and his receptionist is very friendly. The day of surgery went very smooth , it was during covid times so I had to go in alone BUT the staff at Markham Stouffville were so nice. I could not believe how stress free it was walking into the operating room. The staff in the operating room made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. After I woke up I felt no pain and doctor Kao came to see my first thing in the morning to check in on me and see how I was feeling. Over my healing process he was always available by telephone/e-mail and answered any questions that I had. I am so very happy with my results it has been 6 months and I still cant believe how great of a job was done! I would highly recommend doctor Kao as your plastic surgeon and have no regrets as himself and staff have been nothing but professional and AWESOME!

My experience here has been nothing short of amazing. I had various areas of liposuction done as I had a difficult time losing weight after having my second child 7 months ago. All staff, including the secretary, nurse, Dr. Kao himself, the nurse practitioner and anesthesiologist were all fantastic. Everybody was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, and very welcoming. Dr. Kao was not condescending and did not point out additional irrelevant surgeries, as a previous plastic surgeon has done in my past, that I would benefit from. Instead, he focused on what I wanted. I appreciated his bedside manner—extremely professional. I also have to say the secretary was very efficient at returning my phone calls, booking me within the short timeframe I had requested, and was extremely patient with me as I had made multiple phone calls to request additional areas of liposuction to be done (let’s just say I was a bit indecisive). I was also provided with a work phone texting system which I found very helpful for questions I had thought of after my phone calls. My questions via text were always answered by staff in a timely manner (always within 10 minutes). The facility itself is already extremely clean and comfortable. It’s one of the nicest facilities I have ever seen. After my liposuction, I was told how much fat was removed and offered to see pictures, with my consent of course (which I loved because I am a healthcare professional myself and found this very interesting). I am also so happy with my results so far and I am only one day post-op (still a lot of swelling) so I am excited to see how things settle in the next few weeks. I have nothing but positive regard for Dr. Kao and his staff and will be returning for a future tummy tuck after my last child sometime in the future. Thank you for everything, you are a truly wonderful team!

Dr Kao operated on both of my hands a few years ago for Carpal tunnel. He was professional and effective from the initial consultation to the last follow up appointment. For the operation, I was in and out of the hospital in 30 minutes! Unbelievable! Precise and exacting. He knows his stuff. I am extremely pleased with the results and am at full strength with no recurrence at all.I wish you continued success Dr Kao. Keep up the good work. I will continue to referred everyone I know to you for this surgery.

Dr Kao exceeded my expectations! He did such an amazing job on my surgery. He’s very kind, caring and professional. I was very impressed with how informative and patient he was. Dr. Kao is such an amazing doctor. He did multiple surgeries on my both hands and fingers with a great result. It has been less than 3 weeks of my right hand and finger surgery and I’ve almost got my full range of motion back with no more numbness and tingling. He is the best in what he does. My overall experience from start to finish was amazing.Sue and the other staff members were caring and went above and beyond. I had a facelift and neck surgery. I'm sooo happy with the results. For me, it was so refreshing to do business with someone that has their heart in their business. Dr. Kao knows his business. Thank you Dr. Kao for the great job.
