This is an amazing restaurant. We were visiting Port Hardy for a hiking trip and spent the last day exploring the town and actually walked 4km to eat here and it was wellWorth it!! Lovely owners who gave us somuch delicious and beautiful food. I can’t recommend this place enough please support local.

Me and my boyfriend went there today. He had this lovely sashimi! Melt in your mouth delicious. Waitress and chefs were super friendly! Very welcoming and funny.All the food came to us displayed amazingly and tasting even better! Highly recommend.

We had to wait almost 50 minutes for our food. We came a bit after opening and seemed that they had a lot of take outs. So why not open a bit earlier or later but finish first with your takeouts, so we don't wait 25 minutes for anyone to take our order? Then I had to send my plate back because fish smelled not fresh. If you tasted good sushi before, this place is not for you! The fish in the sushi was not sliced fish but a mushy something.... Waiter took one piece of sushi from my chopsticks, put it in his mouth, and said that it was good. Clearly, it was not fresh and smelled funny, plus the shock for me that a total stranger would taste from my personal plate in front of me! It is obviously overpriced for this quality. The plate that is in the picture contains 18 small pieces, which cost almost 30$!

Ordered takeout from here on our way to a cabin for the night. Very friendly staff, I even received a free order of salmon tempura when I went in to pay. The fish was as fresh as it gets and the rolls were delicious and creative. The overall price may have been a bit high to my standards but it was reflected in the quality and quantity of the food. Also Cheap raw fish is not always a good thing! Will definitely order again next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend.

Bought dinner for me, my daughter & family and the sushi tray, prawn tempura, unagi roll, sushi pizza, miso soups, and seaweed salads was all so delicious. The server was very busy and so polite when taking our order. We didn’t have to wait long for our takeout order. I highly recommend.

The owners are so friendly and warm! They really go out of their way to make sure your service is great…and the food is really good! The wonton soup broth hit the spot and the sushi was so fresh and delicious!

This was an unexpected gem to have right across the street from our campground. The sushi was delicious, the service was amazing, and the prices were reasonable. Do not overlook this diamond in the rough, it is wonderful!

I came here on my birthday a few days ago (Sunday June 5) - we waited outside the restaurant for a bit before it opened because we were hungry hehe, but once the restaurant opened and we sat down, the server said she saw us waiting in our car outside and brought us some free (super tasty) miso soup for waiting/being the first customers of the day. That was really really nice :) Also the food was delicious! I had really good agedashi tofu and a special roll that I unfortunately cannot remember the name of. I wanna say something like fire titanic roll".... anyways beautiful plating and very good all around
