I don't know why they call this a dragon boat festival. In 2021, they just had music and booths selling stuff. No dragon boats at all.

The Victoria Dragon Boat Festival is one of Victoria's Premiere 'not to be missed' Summer Festivals held in August of each year in Victoria's beautiful Inner Harbour It is a free family event that includes Dragon Boat Teams from all over BC, Alberta, Washington & Oregon compete over 2 Race Days couples with great Cultural Entertainment, Food Trucks and Vendors.

Too loud! The dragon boat festival is a great event for the city of Victoria. I don't see the need for the event to be so loud that people do not want to sit in the beer area. The event was so loud last night that the buskers on the causeway had to shut down their shows. Surely consideration should be taken when putting on a great event like this.
