I have spoken to numerous people including Mike Nelson that they are contacting the wrong person but still continue to badger me. They have sent me a ton of info via email about someone else's debt that is owed. About $14k is owed by someone in Canada with the same name as me. He tried to tell me I never spoke to him but was able to show him an email reply to him that he had the wrong person. I have called him twice now and they said they would stop contacting me but haven't. The guy owes them $150 a month and hasn't been paying. Now I am not up to date on the laws in Canada as I am American but out here it is super illigal to give out information about a debt to anyone who isn't the debtor. Wonder if that is the same in Canada? Hope this makes it clear Mike.

Rude, aggressive people in the debt collection business calling people, threatening legal action... Even if the person they are seeking is not now, nor ever has been at the number they are calling, they are unapologetic.
