WM - Kingston Hauling & Transfer Station

$66 minimum charge, so many fees on top of fees. 619 pounds of renovation waste was over $70. Would have been $40 in Ottawa.

Terrible customer service, the two ladies at the front has the worst customer service experience! I came last week and I paid less than $50 which was 49 something, I came today they tell me it’s $50 minimum and she was so rude the way she was talking to me I have only two bags! I will never be back again the worst customer service ever I hope the management can see this comment and they do something about it if they really care about their business and their reputation

This is a crazy set up only one scale so they will do a group of vehicles in then a group out takes forever. Make sure you go early better yet try another transfer station.

Poor customer service. Every visit, the attendant is quite rude, bordering on aggressive. Minimum is $50, which is steep for an average car load of waste. I recommend folks use Waste Connections, on McAdoo's Lane, instead of WM.

30+ minutes in line with 3 vehicles in front of me and without the line moving - person in front of me had been waiting 20 minutes longer. Did they close to residential drop off for and hour lunch at 11:00am ? If so there should be some sort of indication that they are closed late morning. (none on website and not at physical site). I was trying to get a 'quick' errand done and instead ended up being out of the office for over an hour.

I'll never go here again. I brought in wood and drywall, and told them over the speaker that I have that stuff on my truck but that I wasn't dumping it.I get back to the scales, and they were trying to charge me $65. The lady said it was a weight issue, who was then told to be quite ( I was only 200 pounds heavy out of the 500 your allowed.)The older lady then turned around and tried to accuse me of dropping lumber, when she didn't even look in the back of my truck while I was checking out.I had all the lumber, drywall, and concrete footings were all strapped in the back of my truck.So I told the lady to check my truck and she then saw that I was not lieing.She then got defensive towards me, she knew she messed up. So instead they tried to charge me $45. Dump fee is supposed to be $40.So they lie to you saying your over weight when your not.If they see any lumber in the vehicle they will charge you for it ( $20 ) extra. Weather you actually drop your lumber or not.And to top it off. When I went to go pay, I told them I was paying debit. And they kepted promting visa.I kepted trying to explain to them that it's a debit card. But instead of working with me, they sat there and insalted me saying I don't know how to use there machine...Every time I go there they treat me with the most disrespect possible.Go to EZ solutions 360 in the west end. Let's show them that disrespecting people is not the way to do business.Sorry for the long read

I’ve gone here many times over the years, sure there is a line up some days but that’s to be expected when people are unloading vehicles full of junk by hand..... crazy I know! The wait has always been minimal and reasonable and the price is fair. I do agree it would be nice if either one day during the week or on the weekend ( or even once every 2 weeks) there were extended hours for people to do a run after work.Well run business with fair fees.

Waste Management have been amazingly supportive of our efforts to assist the cats and kittens at their business. Kittens were not killed and we were allowed in to make certain they were not hurt or trapped. Please do not bash W.M.. We are working together in an ongoing effort to spay/neuter and vaccinate the kitties - and I thank them so much for that. Absolutely disgusting not to mention a major ripoff at a $50 flat rate. What if you just want to bring one item? Clearly this company and the city need to take a drive to Guelph and look at how a real waste system and drop off area is supposed to be done.

What better way to spend 30 minutes? Friendly customer service, the chance to throw away your garbage and make the metal clang and you see how much your vehicle weighs! Well worth the $50 to drop off unwanted vacuums, household waste and anything else that comes to mind.
