Gina's Closet

Hidden Gem for gently used Bridal and Formal wear. We stumbled upon this shop on an impromptu visit to St Jacobs. It is in the Silo and a unique little shop with a mission do donate to local Cancer charities. They have a selection of wedding dresses and formal wear, including some fun vintage pieces. I wish I had an upcoming event for which I required a dress. Time to go through my closet and find something to donate.

I had really great experience here! Marlene was absolutely lovely, she made the dress selection process fun, easy and memorable. I tried on several dresses and there were certain features I really liked in each dress, Marlene was amazing and found a dress that combined the things I liked and I ended up picking the one she showed me! The prices at the store are very reasonable and the quality of the dresses are exceptional! On top of that, 100% of the proceeds go to cancer charities! Thank you Marlene!

The place is really nice, such a unique store. And even though I did not find a single wedding dress that fit me, I just love this place as a concept! For those of you that don't know, this shop is all donated wedding dresses (they do also have some evening/mother of the Bride). And when you purchase a dress here, the money goes to charity. Such a nice option for those who don't know what to do with their dress, but no longer want to keep it. This place is definitely worth checking out!

What an amazing place!My daughter wanted to look for her wedding dress at Gina's because the dresses are donated (previously loved) and 100% of the proceeds of the sale of those wedding dresses goes back into our community for cancer care.Gina's closet had much more of a selection than I was expecting and their prices (or donations") were fantastic!The volunteer who was working the day we were in was lovely and very hard working.I would HIGHLY recommend Gina's to anyone looking for a wedding dress or a formal dress.And yes...my daughter did say yes to the dress at Gina's Closet!"

Go here first and donate if you can! When my friend's wedding dress she purchased online was delayed repeatedly and we realized it was not going to make it in time for the wedding it was Gina's closet to the rescue. Marlene was so so patient, like next level amazing, and helped my friend to find a dress for her big day. She squeezed us in and allowed us to bring my friend's toddler son (as the wedding was in less than a week) when they usually aren't open and helped us find something that would work and was within budget. This is such an amazing organization. I will definitely be donating my bridesmaid's dress and anything else that I can. Truly a gem in the KW region. I would highly recommend going here first and seeing what they have as I was truly impressed with their selection. You might just find your dream dress at half the price and be able to support a great charity.

I was able to find my wedding dress from the good selection and with the help of two amazing volunteers. It was so nice to be able to give a dress a second special day and know that I was supporting an important cause at the same time. I look forward to taking my family back to find their dresses for our special day.

I got my wedding dress at Gina's and I found them so easy to work with my mom and grandma also got their dresses at Gina's as well!I recommend them to any new brides, they are clean, amazing to work with, and excellently priced!

Nothing but good things to say about this place. Lots of new or gently-worn formal-event and wedding dresses, ample selection for ludicrously low prices (before even *considering* the rampant upcharging in the wedding industry), and it's a charitable non-profit to boot. Staff was not pushy at all, but patient, accommodating, and picked up quickly on my tastes in helping me find something I'd love.

Very neat idea - taking the single-wear item and selling it to benefit cancer charities! I love the positive environmental impacts as well. I've never bought a dress but have donated mine and my mom's. I was quite impressed with the selection in the store when I visited. If you're a bride in the KW area definitely check it out!
