We adopted Brutus just under 4 years ago through team cat rescue. We had 4 other cats at the time but we just had to adopt this older cat, 5 years of age, and give him a forever home. He was great with the cats as if he had been here his whole life. Absolutely loving. Unfortunately he developed a tumour in his mouth and we had to euthanize him in March. Miss him and his personality immensely. He was a great addition to our family and we thank team cat rescue for giving us the opportunity to bring this great cat into our home. He will always be known as our French cat.

Don't let the good reviews fool you. Terribly organized and comically strict. I'd argue they ultimately do more harm than good.Makes prospective applicants jump through hoops, which I did, only to be told at the *very* end of the process that they don't allow someone to only adopt one cat, they must adopt two cats (if they don't already have cats). It would have been as simple as LITERALLY TELLING ME THIS AT THE BEGINNING, but no, they called me and told me this after meeting and playing with the cat, and doing mountains of paperwork.Totally unorganized garbage agency, I'll never use them and actively discourage people from using them.

I first worked with Team Cat last fall when I was looking to adopt a cat again. I was impressed with how thorough their screening process is and how much effort they put into trying to match potential adopters with the right cat (and vice versa!) Yes this can sometimes take longer and is maybe more in-depth than some people would like when trying to get a new pet, but at the end of the day their main focus is making sure that their cats are being placed into healthy, safe situations for the rest of their lives.Based on my living situation and criteria, I was matched with a number of potential kitties who I was able to visit prior to making a decision, and the foster parents were extremely accommodating and friendly as well, allowing me into their homes to meet the cats. Getting to see and interact with them helped me make an informed decision about who would be the best fit for me, and I brought home my girl a couple of days later.When I was thinking of getting a second cat to keep her company this past spring, Team Cat was the first place I went as they were able to easily work with me to help me find a kitty who would be a good match for her. Even with everything going on with COVID and restrictions the organization and foster mom were great, and I was able to virtually meet and then bring home a wonderful young cat who simply adores his big sis and is the most hilarious goofball I could’ve ever asked for.At the end of the day, if you are looking for someone who will just adopt out a cat to you with no questions asked then this probably isn’t the rescue for you. However, if you are open to working with a dedicated group of volunteers to help give a beautiful animal a safe forever home then Team Cat is incredible to partner with. I admire their dedication to making sure that their adopters are able to provide a happy and healthy home for their cats, as they deserve nothing less. I am so thrilled with my two, and will continue to recommend Team Cat to anyone I know who is looking to adopt!

We absolutely adore TEAM Cat Rescue, for trusting us to provide a forever home for 2 of our incredible feline family members, Monty and Angus. We have a very busy household, with two little kiddos, a dog, and we always seem to have 3 cats. TEAM Cat has always matched us with the perfect cats to thrive our busy home. We can't imagine life without our tuxedo boys. Adopted a couple of kittens in June from Team Cat Rescue. The process, the volunteers who handled the application review, interview, Meet and Greet with the foster; pickup, post-adoption went so smoothly throughout this process. I specially want to thank Anna, Sarah and Lydia, such a great combination of team- very professional, friendly, courteous and responsive to question that came up throughout the adoption of Neptune and Venus. I highly recommend Team Cat Rescue. They're committed to finding a forever home to the kittens and cats rescued.

I adopted my first Team Cat in 2017 and was greatly impressed with their commitment to finding the best homes for their cats. They were so friendly and professional!After adopting my little Maisie, I was inspired to volunteer for them myself, and over 2+ years I fostered more than a dozen cats, and foster-failed once (to the uninitiated, that means I adopted one of my fosters :) The only reason I stopped fostering is because I moved away from the GTA.Team cat is careful and selective when placing cats in homes. It's not first-come-first-served. Some cats need a quiet home. Some need a buddy". Some need to be adopted in pairs. You can't just window shop for the cutest cat... Because

Team cat is an amazing rescue and I had the best experience adopting from them. We found the cat we wanted at a Pet Valu and we submitted an application. They were honest with us and told us that cat had several apps already. We wanted him so we submitted the app. I appreciate the fact that they are so thorough in their screening process. I was happy they checked references and called my vet to make sure I vetted my other cats properly. These cats come from kill shelters and the rescue wants to be sure they are placing each cat in a suitable and forever home.We did e d ip getting the cat we wanted and he has added so much joy to our family. Team cat also has resources available post adoption on social media. There is a Facebook page to share photos and stories about your cat as well as a medical page where you can ask any questions about behavior or illness.This rescue is run completely by volunteers so please be patient when applying , it will be worth it when you once you bring your new kitty home.

My husband and I have adopted three cats from Team Cat over the last five years. This is a wonderful organization whose volunteers and fosters are dedicated and committed to finding forever homes for all the cats and kittens. I can’t thank Team Cat enough for all the work they do! I recommend this rescue to anyone looking to add a furry feline to their family.
