The staff is very courteous and professional, the food was delicious, generous in potion sizes and steaming hot! Highly recommend the grilled octopus!

I was there on a recent Thursday evening with our wine club. It was a regular spot for our club pre-covid and has had a major renovation in the interim. It has the feel of a modern take out/eat in sports diner with several large screen TVs. We enjoyed a plentiful BBQ chicken dinner (with salad and fries) with croquettes and black olives as appetizers. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful, tasty, and reasonably priced. We all enjoyed the event and will surely return. Many thanks.

First time here at King of Pigs restaurant in East London on Hamilton-Road. I went with a friend who had been there before many times and came highly recommended. Friendly crowd and busy for a Wednesday. Our waitress recommended steak, but my guest strongly recommended octopus. I went to with the octopus. It was excellent and tender, not to big. I would have it again but would forgo boiled vegetables for salad and fries.

It was our first time at this restaurant, and unfortunately, we will not be coming back. We ordered chicken, ribs, and a chicken salad. The chicken (drumstick and thigh) had a nice flavour, but it was overcooked and dry. The sauce on the ribs had a nice flavour, but the meat had an odd taste as though were unfresh; they were also tough and definitely not fall-off-the-bone tender. The shredded chicken on the chicken salad was also dry and tough. Everything was merely average.

Food was good and it was pretty full for a Thursday at lunch. Our server was very kind but worked all the tables by herself. I would suggest more staff.I would recommend the pull pork sandwich. It was delicious!

As my first time going to this establishment, I was blown away with the food and the service, large portions, amazing service, one of our party speaks only Portuguese, they were more than happy to communicate with her in Portuguese. Their house made hot sauce's were delicious, I can't say enough amazing things about this place!!

We ordered for a party. It was a pretty big order, 1 pig and 10 chickens. Food was good. Service to get the food needs major improvement.We called to confirm to have the pig cut; it was not cut. I ordered extra sauce (3 bottles); all paid for in advanced and ready to be picked up by 2pm.When going to pick up, it was not ready and indicated it would be a couple hours. They then stated it would be an extra 10-15 minutes.Brought the food to the party and sauces were missing. I had the food picked up by a friend.I had to visit the restaurant to get refunded the sauce, but they refused to refund the cutting fee.Food good, service not good.

I spent around $50 on flavourless ribs and salty chicken. The food is so bland that I don’t have much to say other than don’t waste your money here. Consider using other seasonings on your food, not just a whole bunch of salt. 75% of my container was filled with fries and I only received two small pieces of chicken and a slab of ribs.

We were very excited to come here and eat after reading all the reviews. We ordered the 1/2 chicken and pork cutlets and both were very dry. It seemed that the food had been sitting for a while and lost a lot of moisture.The pulled pork sandwich though was delicious and so were the sauces.I was looking forward to trying some toast piglet but they don’t serve them on weekdays. Too bad.
