There's better places to go that are closer to town in my opinion. You can have wiener roasts here though. You could swim there, but I wouldn't.

Epic little spot, plowed parking lot, pit toilet, and picnic tables. Walking trail around the lake. No overnight camping. Looks like a boat launch and always check the motor and fishing rules and regulations.

Beautiful lake, water is warmer than most with lots to explore...trails, picnic table and fire pits. Frogs, toads, leeches and loons!!

[Bears sighted during hike, advise caution]Not a particularly special park. Hike loops around the lake, however is quite overgrown and trails can be difficult to navigate.

Beautiful views, great fishing area and the trail hike is pretty decent. A little overgrown at the moment due to low traffic and there are some fallen trees as a result from a recent wind storm so be prepared to duck and climb.
