Beautiful and reverent Traditional Latin Mass. A very welcoming environment, everybody is invited downstairs for coffee and snacks after Sunday Mass.Contrary to some erroneous comments, They are indeed in communion with Rome and have fully valid sacraments.

Christ the King Church is an SSPX Priory. The SSPX priests are what you can expect of a true Catholic priest. What words come to my mind when you say SSPX priest? From the ones I have met at Christ the King Church: holy men devoted to God and their flock, frugal, sacrificed and willing to give up their lives for their flock.I’ve seen these priests at times saying an early Mass on Vancouver Island, flying to the mainland singing a High Mass at Langley at noon and driving to the Okanagan to say yet another Mass in the late afternoon. You don’t see that much at your local Catholic parish. It takes a saint to be willing to do that.During the covid thing, while the archdioceses all around the world shut down and forced for the first time in history for the faithful to attend “virtual masses”, and denied the sacraments to the faithful, these SSPX priests would go to the hospitals to give the last rites to the gravely sick and the dying if they were able to make it throw security at the hospital, or wherever the sick and dying were. I know because my wife and I received them. Should we have died and be saved, it would have been because an SSPX priest was willing to risk his own life for the salvation of our souls. I could say much more. Need I?Thank you, Father. And thank God for all SSPX priests and SSPX Bishops and all SSPX associated religious orders. My wife and I grew up in the conciliar church and with the novus ordo Mass. There was always something about the mass that didn’t seem right. So, we started searching and researching, and learning things we should have learned way before. We thank God for allowing us to find the Traditional Latin Mass, the Mass canonized by Pope Saint Pius V for all times, so beautiful and reverent. We learned about this little SSPX chapel in Langley, and we went there to check out the Mass. They have daily Low Masses and High Mass on Sundays and on some Catholic Feast Days as per the 1962 Missal. The Sunday High Mass is beautiful, it’s reverent and it’s solemn, complete with a beautiful choir. Normally after Mass there’s coffee and something to eat, and lots of welcoming folks easy to talk with.At first, we didn’t understand a thing, but our longing for a reverent Mass helped us overcome the newness of it all. In very little time we were perfectly fine responding in Latin and learning many prayers in Latin. The Missal is available in Latin and English, or many other languages as well, so you can always be aware of what the Priest is praying in Latin or in silence. We believe we have found here what little is left of the one true Church, of the one true God.

Christ the King Church celebrates the traditional latin mass, the pinnacle and most beautiful ceremony of the Roman Rite. The priests are extremely friendly and kind along with the congregation. I highly recommend attending. The SSPX has been a rock in the trying times post Vatican ll and have always been in line with Catholic teaching holding onto its traditional roots. May God continue to bless this parish.

The real Catholic church and they don't close because the government says there is a pandemic. Valid Sacraments.. Christus Rex!Despite what some of these reviewers say, the SSPX is in partial communion with Rome.Saint Athanasius Even if the Catholic faithful to Tradition are reduced to a handful they are the ones who are the true Church of Jesus Christ.""

An oasis in this rundown world. The Traditional Mass in this parish is truly beautiful, the priests transmit the faith with great dedication and without compromise. The people here are friendly and talkative after Mass. I recommend to anyone who wants to know their faith in depth to attend this parish. Here you will learn what must be done to live as a true Catholic.

At Christ the King Church you can witness the traditional Latin Mass celebrated by the holy priests with the care and reverence due to our Lord. As a recent adult convert baptized there after completing catechism I can attest to the friendly and welcoming priests and parishioners. Highly recommend attendance for ALL Catholics and especially those considering becoming one.
