I've been working with José for a few months now. Everything has been great so far. I have been learning a lot! José is very friendly and easy to work with. We focus on my areas for improvement. I also appreciate how the admin staff is responsive.

I highly recommend SpanishVIP! The support staff are professional and accommodating, as I have changed my schedule a couple times due to school and work. My teacher, Jose, is personable, positive, and patient. He also expertly tailored the lessons to my Spanish language level and academic interests, which is important to me as an art history graduate student. I passed my language exam and I know I have SpanishVIP to thank. 5 out of 5 stars!

Been using SpanishVIP for 4 months so far, started with just a basic understanding of verbal tenses and now I feel comfortable enough to hold simple conversations. Even had my first dream the other day where I was using some Spanish. Highly recommend them! My teacher Stefani is awesome!

I've been using lessons from SpanishVIP in preparation for a trip to Spain for three months now and the classes have been excellent. My thrice-weekly classes with Jose have been great and got me from being somebody who could sort of feel my way around the language to being able to have some conversations in it. The lessons I received have tremendously boosted my language skills and I am confident I will be far better to get around on my trip.

I've been with VIP for about 6 months after trying and paying for SO many courses. VIP are the ABSOLUTE cream of the crop. I have NEVER found such a reliable, honest and hardworking Team of people, ever. Based in Columbia, they put most UK Companies to shame. I had so many email conversations with Norbey from Student Services in order to ascertain what my preferences and needs were, and he is ultra efficient and so pleasant. Due to being an NHS Nurse working 14 hour days my scheduling is severely limited and the whole Team worked hard to accommodate that, for which I am very appreciative.When I started to learn Spanish 2 years ago I really thought I'd master it very quickly and end up being an interrupter, BUT how wrong I was, it's the hardest thing I've ever done, and I'm not thick as have a First Class Honours degree in Mental Health Nursing and multiple other qualifications. However, I LOVE studying it and for what I lack in total zero natural talent, I try to make up for in sheer grit and determination. My aim is to simply be able to communicate meaningfully in Spanish.I signed up for a trial lesson with one of the amazing teachers Jesús and he talked me through the way it works and the packages. There was no pressure, just great advice and I was so impressed with his teaching style. I signed up for the 6 months private tutoring package which is amazing value when you work out how much private one to one first class tutoring you're getting for that period of time. As there is an understandable wait of a few weeks to be matched to a teacher and your schedule I signed up for a month's Group Classes. I took these daily with the outstanding Jesús, Vivi and Daniella. I was blown away at how good these classes were and the calibre of the Teachers and the material, they would adapt the class to the general level of the group and are so highly skilled in managing a group class (which is far from easy) it's like watching a master class in teaching a foreign language. I LOVED every class.Now, onto my allocated Teacher whom I have had the ABSOLUTE PRIVILEGE of being with for the last 4 weeks. Again, his lessons are like a Master Class in Spanish teaching. His name is José L. Duarte-Rodríguez. From the moment we met I knew that Spanish VIP had given me the best match possible. José ticks every single box for a Spanish teacher, and I have tried SO many in the past, all have been great and very well meaning but José is way up at the top of the league. José is evidently a very experienced and highly skilled teacher, his English in both writing and speaking is as good as a Native. José seems to instinctively know what my strengths and weaknesses are and every lesson has been different. He uses a wealth of teaching methods and materials, it must have taken him years to compile all these. José is clearly very passionate about teaching and helping his students to reach their goals. His lessons are fun, he has the best sense of humour which matches my type of humour and gives his all in every moment of each class. His lessons are well planned, very well structured and sets homework which is relevant and pertinent to what we have been studying - we have a course note book which helps me to revisit everything we have done so far. I have 4 classes per week with José and I look forward to every one. I have learnt so much already and I am certain that he can get me to the highest level of my abilities. José is a genuinely lovely guy, warm ,kind, so pleasant, reliable, well ordered, highly efficient with everything, extremely patient and totally professional. I just hope he never leaves!I sometimes think that Spanish VIP is too good to be true, after all my attempts at learning Spanish up until this point, but it really is true and I would HIGHLY recommend it to you if you you´re serious about learning this wonderful language and getting to know the culture and meeting the beautiful Latin American and Spanish people.I plan to just keep renewing every 6 months as I have learnt that any language learning is a life process.

I have been a student with SpanishVIP for 7 months now. I am having a fantastic experience working with my teacher, José. It is apparent how hard he works to develop lesson plans that are catered to my needs and interests. It has been a lot of fun learning with him. Our classes are engaging, interesting, and go by so quickly! My Spanish has improved greatly since I began studying with José!

I have been studying with SpanishVIP for one year now and my experience with the company has been wonderful and my abilities with Spanish have improved dramatically.My teacher for the majority of my time has been Jose. His enthusiasm and his excellent teaching skills make my classes a highlight of my week. Our classes and assignments cover all the skill development areas - reading, writing, listening and speaking. In addition, we have classes focusing on topics relating to the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries.I especially value the way Jose has made a point of getting to know me and my interests. He structures our classes to include these as part of the learning process. This makes the classes even more fun and helps me to learn relevant vocabulary, allowing me to converse better about topics that matter to me.Jose is also always noting my strengths and areas needing development. He uses our classes to build on the strengths and, especially, to focus on the improvement opportunities. I really value this attention to me and my specific needs. I believe that, because of this, I am getting the best instruction possible.If you have been considering taking Spanish classes and have been hesitating about joining SpanishVIP, let me encourage you to take the leap and sign up. During the height of the pandemic, I wanted to learn another language and it was a terrific decision. I have come a long way from - hola! José is an outstanding teacher. Every day, he has something new and exciting for me to learn. And, he always asks me if I enjoyed the lesson, and if I have any questions or comments. If there is something I want to study, he will create an easy way for me to learn it. I am a writer and published my first bilingual book on Kindle, How I Helped My Grandma Rose. José helped me edit my second book, Gimmee! Gimmee! Gimmee! I am now writing a Spanish short story every Friday for class. I'm now writing my second 5-star review for SpanishVIP. I've been taking Spanish lessons for about a year now at SpanishVIP. My Spanish is progressing much faster with the 1:1 approach. I originally had Daniela, but I had to switch to a new teacher a couple of months ago due to a scheduling conflict.I now have José and I love him!!! He's a great Spanish teacher. He's patient, he's kind and his energy is infectious. In addition to playing games José also acts out character voices during lessons. He makes learning so much fun! I truly look forward to our classes. I'm grateful to have José as my teacher.
