Tim Hales Fish Huts

Wow!!! What a great first ice fishing experience. From the minute we called and made the reservation a few months ago to the minute we left, the staff were incredible. They answered all questions and made sure we had everything we need and were comfortable. Being out first time, they took the time to explain the process followed by helpful tips to make our night fishing successful. Huts were perfect. Comfortable, warm due to the propane burners and very clean. Can’t wait to go back.

As an avid fisherman, I was very happy with their hut rentals. Huts are clean and comfortable. Plenty of heat. More minnows than you’ll ever need, usb chargers in the hut, stove and LED lighting . Very friendly and professional. Today the fishing wasn’t great but that why it’s called fishing not catching lol. The ride out was very comfortable. Looking to set up a company outing in the future with them. Thank you again. , definitely looking forward to coming back and change my luck.

Went fishing yesterday with Tim Hales. From the first time talking to Kim on the phone I knew it would be good and wasnt disappointed. Caught alot of perch and brought home a dozen. Day went went way to fast. Will be back next year. Thanks for a great day.

Thus place is an amazing place to go if you want to go ice fishing. I went for a corporate function with my work and it was super fun. I have never fished before, let alone ice fishing and I had tons of fun. The hits are very well insulated so you do not have to worry about being cold. The heat comes from the 2 burners in the room which can be used to cook as well. The staff here are also super nice. I would recommend coming here for all who want to have a fun ice fishing experience.

This place has a great operation going. They look after you from beginning to end taking you out ice fishing and setting up the hut with a bucket of live minnows, tip up stands, lighting the Coleman stove for you so everything is ready to go. The hut has a solar panel which allows you to charge your devices through a usb connector. They come back at around noon to check up on you and see how you are making out. At the end of the day you are driven back off the ice to the parking lot. A great experience.

Tim Hale and their team was phenomenal!It was my first time Ice fishing and I had a very unique and enjoyable experience at Tim’s.We stayed in one of their rustic cabins. It was a well kept space with fascinating outdoors decor. The place is stocked with utensils and has a fire place to keep you warm and cozy.Once you arrive at Tim’s, they pick you up in a bombardier (enclosed snowmobile) and bring you out on Lake Simcoe to one of their huts. The driver will give you a bunch of minnows to use as bait for the day. The huts are well insulated and equipped with a gas stove top for cooking or using as a heater.TO BRING: fishing equipment, warm clothes, food for the day, and garbage bags.We caught some herring and perch throughout the day. It’s neat because if you block the windows, you can see pretty clearly into the fishing hole.They’ll come check in on how you’re doing during the day but you should have a scheduled pick up time to take you back to the parking area.To put the cherry on top, our tail gate wasn’t closing so Kim let us park on the side and when we got back, they had it fixed for us. Talk about service!!Overall, definitely recommend coming out here with friends or familyShout out Kim and Barry for being beautiful humans!!

We ladies had an amazing time catching perch and so far one Whitie at Hales this year. Their staff are absolutely amazing and Tim is always trying his best to keep his clients on the fish. Thanks so much for making my day a happy one.

This was a great experience, I am born and raised canadian and only ever went ice fishing once so far but this experience was awesome. The owners were very warm and friendly. Educated me and accommodated my group. See you next yeara
