The Travel Lady

The planning of excursions was excellent and we saw so many wonderful places that were included in the cost of the trip. It would have been nice to have a meet and greet on our second night to get to know the other travellers. It was a shame that a lady was hospitalized at the very beginning of our trip with a respiratory illness and was put at the back of our bus when we left to go on to Tuscany. Unfortunately the virus spread through the bus including myself and after paying for optional excursions the first day in Venice there were several that I could not take due to illness and there was no consideration for this type of situation and I lost several hundred dollars. Another situation is that it may have been very helpful to know what level of difficulty it was in going on the various excursions. Some were easy walking and some a hard climb uphill on the Amalfi coast. Looking back though , I have good memories of a beautiful country, meeting wonderful travellers and enjoying Joanne and Don’s knowledge of the various places visited. I would recommend Travel Ladies in the future!

Covid and the world stage these past few years have certainly impacted travel and Donna has been a source of excellent advice and support in scheduling and rescheduling our Europe river cruise! We're now fully booked with confidence for our upcoming Europe experience, including our river cruise, this upcoming May/June! I recently had the pleasure of working with Anni at The Travel Lady to book a transatlantic crossing Cruise with Cunard on the Queen Mary 2. Everyone dreams of this vacation but when I found out that I could take my West Highland Terrier (only cruise line that allows dogs), I booked the cruise both ways. Anni was amazing to work with and followed through on each and every request (I always have a lot). Cunard has a long waitlist for bringing your dog and it is kind of stressful until you get the final confirmation that there is space for your dog. Thanks to Anni for making this happen! Her professionalism and follow-up is greatly appreciated. We do not sail until the fall of 2024 but knowing that everything is organized and confirmed makes me very happy. In the past I have booked many of my trips on my own but having the expertise of Anni and The Travel Lady really helped put my mind at ease! Definitely would recommend and will book through The Travel Lady again!

I love working with Anni at The Travel Lady to book holidays. She is super easy to work with and has great knowledge of travel options. She really helps to keep you on track when planning & preparing a trip which is a very nice personal touch.

We booked a trip to Africa and just returned. The Travel Lady took care of every detail for us. I told Amanda, our agent, the types of things we would be interested in and our budget. Miranda went above and beyond to help make my recent trip to Malta one of my best trips ever!

Our first trip with the Travel Lady to Malaga, Spain was fantastic. The Costa del Sol is a beautiful part of Spain with a lot to do and see. The hotel was busy but had everything (restaurants, pool, nightly entertainment and happy hour). The tours organized by the Travel Lady were top notch (Caminito del Rey and Setenil de Las Bodegas WOW). The travel days to and from Canada to Spain were very long. Our suggestion to the Travel Lady would be to shorten the layover times and minimize the number of stops to make this trip even better.
