Adorable little café, tried their strawberry croissant and red bean milk. The croissant was fluffy with a nice crisp, and the cream to bread ratio was perfect. Strawberries were sweet and fresh. The red bean milk was so refreshing on a hot day. Would like to come back to try their strawberry latte!

The cake was amazing! Poppy did such a beautiful job, and not only was it beautiful to look at, but it was perfectly made, absolutely the best cake I have ever eaten. She is worth every penny spent, I highly recommend Picasso Bakery if you want a one of a kind cake for your special occasion.

I just discovered Poppy probably 2 or 3 years ago coz i was looking for a local baker and was really excited when she told me about opening a shop! And finally got to visit it today and of course everything is good, the strawberry croissant, iced mocha and the red bean with milk is so delicious! Will recommend it to everybody i know here in Ridge! ❤️ - sansan

Just tried this bakery for the first time! Had an awesome chat with the owner, who had a home based cake business for more than a decade before opening up in Maple Ridge. Poppy is a local and waited for a couple years to find the right space in the city to open a storefront. She employed some young people who are super friendly and customer oriented.I grabbed a vanilla latte and two scones, a cranberry lemon and a cheese one. Now if a long time fan of both scones and coffee and sadly have had more bad scones than good… but Poppy’s scones at Picasso? They were FANTASMIC! Soft, moist, flat or packed, and fresh. So good. The latte was good too, and while not a bougie blend, it held its own and gave me what I wanted.I think you should check the place out. The park across the street is a great place to sit and enjoy it. And maybe take some time to chat with Poppy who is quite lovely and friendly.(Sorry I ate the scones too fast to take a pic, lol)

Ordered a coconut cream cake. It was beautiful And delicious. Group of foodies were all still talking about it the next day. Highly recommend !

Their pastry is ridiculously delicious. Best egg tarts I’ve ever had. A++++
