Beautiful setting and nice ambience. The weather was stunning so you can sit outside but still covered and you can look at hotel grounds and a small view of city. The food is excellent but you do pay for it. The steak is amazing and worth it for the higher price tag. Lots of sides to choose from, mashed potatoes, and mushrooms. Fish options if you don't want meat. Starters can include fresh sushi. Parking on street maybe cheaper than hotel parking.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner here with some friends a few weeks ago. The restaurant is beautiful and their service was outstanding. Food was fresh and flavourful. I recommend the shrimp tempura, salmon steak and Peace country lamb duo. Planning on going back for the Oyster tasters and a run through their other servings.

Went for the Dine Out 2023 menu, which was considerably more affordable than their standard menu, which I haven't tried, so this review may not be helpful in the long run. The salmon aburi was amazing. Everything else tasted decent, but the steak was basic (kind of boring to be honest), I don't think I would recommend that. The dessert was fine but it was a very large portion, which I don't know if I would be complaining about if I hadn't eaten so much of their complimentary bread haha.

Did you know The Victor in Parq Casino and Hotel has one of the best Sunday Brunch Service that you can find in Vancouver. They have agl FREE candy bar that is perfect for the kids to enjoy. They also have a Build Your Own Bloody Mary and Caesar Bar, and a Mimosa Cart as well! ⁣⁣The executive chef Garett Blundell created some amazing dishes for Sunday Brunch like their Oscar Egg Benedict (crab cake) and Caramelized Banana Foster French Toast (Literally the best) and much much more. And their sushi chef Jae Cho also created some amazing dishes from a seafood platter that is perfect to share between two peoplea and much more as well!⁣⁣I really enjoyed everything I had. The seafood was really while the french toast was perfectly sweet and the Oscar Benny has one of the best crab cakes you can find in Vancouver. Definitely check out this brunch ASAP!⁣

I found the food here to be absolutely delicious, although I guess it may also depend on what you order. We had wagyu and sashimi, which is not easy to mess up. The steak was cooked to perfection. They had the most unique tiramisu I’ve ever seen, but it still tasted delicious and that’s all that matters to me.The restaurant itself was super busy and the left portion was quite crowded, thankfully we were near the bar and that side was quiet and comfy. I enjoy the decor and service as well, although the food did take a little long to arrive.Would definitely come back and try some other items.

The prime rib was mediocre, but the rib eye was superb. The prime rib had a dense and slightly tough texture, while the rib eye was very tender. The shrimp tempura was not prepared in the traditional style, but it was full of flavor and crispy like a popcorn shrimp dish. The crab cake was really tasty, but the sauce was too overpowering and masked some of the crab flavor. It would be best to enjoy the crab cake without the sauce.Everything was excellent, including the food, service, and atmosphere. We were delighted that the staff went out of their way to bring a birthday dessert with candles, which made the occasion even more special.I had one of the most remarkable dining experiences at this restaurant. Our waiter, Matthew, provided exceptional service and had an extensive knowledge of the menu and the restaurant. The food was delectable and prepared with great care. What impressed me the most was that multiple staff members came to our table to wish us a happy anniversary, and there was even a greeting card waiting for us upon arrival. The staff truly knows how to make every dining experience special, and we will definitely be back again. Thank you, Victor!

Great dining experience!I always doubted restaurants in hotels, as sometimes they serve so many people, so servers get tired and food qualities go down. However, even though it was super busy when I went, the service and quality of food and drink were exceptional.Honestly, I booked here for the donut for photo op, as stakes are always above average in many restaurants, but they were great! Our server was super friendly, and he patiently waited while we ordered and always there when we needed him.I loved the salad as I even wanted to ask about the recipe!Stakes were perfectly cooked, and the quality of beef was extraordinary.Of course, creme brulee donut did not disappoint me, and we took bunch photos with it. Also it was fun to eat.Definitely coming back for other occasions!(If you place $15 at the casino downstairs, you don't need to pay for the parking)

A good experience for trying for the first time. The service was fantastic but the food itself definitely could be better. The star of the show was definitely the cowboy ribeye. The tomahawk just wasn’t tender compared to other places it was very chewy and the sides there was nothing special would probably just order mac and cheese and waffle and stay away from the others. Everything was mediocre

The food was a solid 4 stars. Our reservation was for 730 and our food arrived at 930. We had a few in our party arrive late but it still took over an hour after ordering to get our food. The Brussels sprouts were excellent, the steak was 6.5/7 out of 10. The server was rare to be seen.

I’ve tried The Victor as a small group but this time with a $100 set menu as a party. It was a really good deal for the amount of food and variety of dishes. The Red Velvet mocktail was also flavourful and delicious. The appetizer cheese bread and sushi impressed me a lot! Although I felt the rice was over cooked (I find that common with sushi from Western restaurants). The steak tartare was very filling and plentiful, I recommend sharing that as a pair - it was marinated very strongly which I love. The strip loin was tender and I’m glad I ordered rare (my normal medium rare would’ve been too cooked for this cut). The crême brûlée donut dessert surprised me because the cotton candy ended up being the highlight, fluffy with a hint of maple syrup flavour. However the actual donuts were underwhelming and cold. I thought The Victor was very average before but I’m willing to try it again now.
