There customer service is terrible. Have been a long time customer but I think it is time to change. Oil is at 1/8 of a tank, have been calling for 2 weeks now trying to get a delivery. Standard answer will be delivered in a day or so but never happens. They do manage to take my money every month without any problems. Customer service reps are just plain rude.

For many years I have had no problems however in the last 5 years I have run out of heating oil 3 to 4 times. Why is this happening? This is not acceptable. I thought they had algorithms to determine when the next oil delivery should be. I call and they can take all day getting back to me and it is worse when it is an evening or a weekend. Once they get back to me it takes even longer to deliver oil. And once they deliver oil, it can take even longer for a technician to come to ensure oil is flowing to furnace Meanwhile I have no heat and the temperature in my house plummets to 12 degrees or lower. Of course this happens on those very cold winter days. I tell them I have no heat but that does not seem to make a difference in the urgency, not to mention as a senior citizen, I seem to be more sensitive to the cold.

The company that they use to do the repairs is good. However, there is no follow-up by Norco service department. They never called to tell me when the repairman would come. They never even called to say that a second visit was needed. A part was needed for my repair. I called Norco a week after the service call and they did not know anything about it. They said they would call back. A week later I called again and they said that the part was ordered (around the time I called). Not only did they not know when the part would arrive they seemed taken aback when I pointed out that I would like this information and that I expected that they would have asked the supplier. BTW heat pumped has major failure after just 2 years. More details to follow once repair is completed.

Second day waiting for the oil delivery. My tank is empty. They promised to come yesterday but it did not happen. Customers service is rude and useless. They do not know when the truck will come. I have to stay home and wait. It is cold in the house and -12C outside. We are on worry free automatic oil delivery" managed by their "state of art software system". In addition to this I've made request for an emergency delivery. They do not care.Check their ratings and reviews by other customers and stay away from this company! They do not want your business."

Worst company ever. We are on an automatic delivery. Yesterday night around 11 at night ,our tanks were empty. This is a 6 appartment building with a 95 year old, very young kids etc.We called at 11:18 pm,12:30 am, 1:30 am,2:30,3:30,6,8 and 9.Every time i get the following answer: we are sending a text message and an email. No call back and still, as of now, no calls or delivery truck.plus, .....I have been told to call the customer services Monday morning.Our tank are never full, they come here and there, bad bad bad cie18 hours later, still no service to start the furnace

Reliable for refilling oil, which is why they get 2 stars instead of 1. Anything else we needed was impossible to get. Their customer service is so bad we switched to an electric furnace years ahead of what we planned. We did not consider them for changing the furnace to electric.Yearly cleaning in the service contract? You have to chase them.We also needed a humifier because our wood floors were splitting in the winter (under 20% humidity). It involved a month of telephone tag, they assured me what was being installed would do the job. It didn't and then they charged me when they sent the very guy who installed the unit to tell me the humidifier would never add enough humidity to the house to not damage the floors.

Very disappointing service. No delivery of heating oil for 3 weeks in February - the coldest month. When I called for emergency delivery, they kept telling me there would be delivery during the day but didn’t know when. It took them 10 hours to deliver, and still couldn’t send a technician to restart the furnace. There are old people and children in the building who had to sleep through 2 nights (-20C) without heat.

We called one week ago for delivery of heating oil and was told delivery would happen in a day or so. Nothing happened and we called on Last Friday. We were told there was nothing they could do. We are running out of oil tonight and the temperature is dropping! No other heating oil companies are open until Monday. We have young children at home! We have learned our lesson. Please don’t listen to what they told you!

Terrible customer service, I buy the yearly plan for furnace and AC unit that is over 600$ tax in a year, last summer they never did the annual maintenance on the AC I only realized by end of summer, I called and they called the subcontractor they deal with. They call me to tell me at this time of the year we have no AC tech available. I called back Norco the person contacts the sub contractor again and she calls back to tell me that now it is too cold to do maintenance on my AC which i had figured that. Called back Norco to get a credit for the maintenance part, I contact service dept. left several msg. never returned my call. After several attempts, finally speak to a person responsible to tell me, this is a company policy after the month of March we cannot credit back from a paid contract. If I buy my contract at the beginning of the year and when time comes to do maintenance its around summer time where is the responsibility of the company I paid you practically beginning of the year 2021 do they normally start cleaning the AC unit in February, heck no. They just make sure they end up keeping your hard working money and if you want it back, you have to start taking steps to get what is yours back. If i had time to waste and money I would go to small claims court as i know its my right but with work and not much time to go and spend another 50$ or more at small claims court why bother and this is why these companies take advantage of us small guys who work hard for there money.

I have never had as terrible customer service from a utility company as I have from Les Huiles Norco. I speak to a different agent every time I call and no one seems capable of doing something as simple as updating my address to be the correct one in the system. We call back the next time and the next time and it is still the same mistaken address. This has happened at least 20 times. Furthermore, in October we (with a 5 month baby) went a week without hot water because they did not send us a delivery automatically as they were supposed to and then could not seem to register our request for a delivery after calling. Then our water heater pump broke and we lost hot water for another week and every time we called they had the wrong name and the wrong address on the account. It's like they are using handwritten notes and passenger pigeons over there. Strangely enough, they never seem to have a problem getting their invoices sent so they can collect money for doing absolutely nothing. I cannot wait until I am finally finished with them when we convert to fully electric. PURE INCOMPETENCE. THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN. I never write negative reviews on line but enough is enough and I see there are plenty of people out there with similar feelings. Let's see if they deliver oil to us now before we again have to take ice bucket baths.
