The Mansion House Historic Restaurant
We contacted the New owners with a request to host a “Steak and Beans” event at the restaurant. The event was a celebration of a sales contest where the winners ordered Steak and the less fortunate ate beans (we let them all have steak). They embraced the task and prepared the table with paper cloth on the beans end and fine dining at the other. Having the staff participate in our fun made it a memorable experience. We had a great time and the food was excellent.Thank you Susan, Rob and the kitchen staff for a great time.

This is the first time we've been there. Fully reno pub with various coctails and drinks. Mansion House has pleasant atmosphere, and live music for weekends. The staff are warm-welcoming and very polite. We had a fun night there. We'll definately come back there with our friends.

Mansion house won't be in business for long under this new management. Went last night and tried to order food after 9:00pm, however they closed the kitchen. Legally food must be available if they are serving drinks....which they were until 1am. When I told the bartender they have to have something available, even simple deep fried foods. She told me I was wrong.. clearly none of their staff have done their smart serve. During this discussion the lady tried to tell me that if they're selling take out drinks that legally all they have to serve is a peppermint....... not my question but okay.... one week in and they're already arguing with hungry customers. Definitely won't be coming back

Had a great time here last night! The food was SO delicious!! My steak was cooked to perfection and I ordered strawberry champagne cheesecake for dessert - WOW!! Great service and ambiance. Will be going back again.

We had a horrible experience at the Mansion House Restaurant. When you entered it smelled of cigarettes. The place was practically empty so we chose an area where the smell was not as bad. The pasta menu was limited and the waitress had to check with the kitchen as they did not have one of the types of pasta they had on the menu and one type of sauce. When we received our order, they had mixed the pasta sauce between me and my spouse. The food was not terribly warm and just okay. The door of the restaurant advertised free wifi, but when we inquired the waitress said no one had a clue on how to access. They also made a mistake on the bill that they had to rectify.In response to the owner reply: You must have the wrong couple as I also noticed the smell of cigarette and there were no other customers around us that evening. Moreover, the person who served us was a young lady who had to go back to the kitchen to get answers regarding the menu and the wifi.

My family and I went to the mansion house last night for the first time and we will never be returning. We were seated at around 7. The menu is very limited but I found something I liked and went to order, but the server said didn’t have it. I ordered something else and they didn’t have that either, so I just went with a salad.We waited until 8:30 before our food was finally brought out to us. I would understand if the place was really busy, but there were only a few other tables. We almost walked out. The food was okay. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t worth an hour and a half wait and it certainly wasn’t worth the price. My dad’s steak was over cooked and my brother’s chicken didn’t look all that appetizing. My salad was fine it just sucked that my first two options weren’t available.An appetizer, two entrees and two cocktails ended up coming up to $141 with a 10% tip. My brother was paying and doesn’t like confrontation, but if it were up to me I wouldn’t pay that.The server was lovely, though. I don’t think I ever got her name but she was very nice.

Haven’t been to the mansion in YEARS but I saw they renovated the whole thing so I thought I would give it a go. Went on a Sunday for dinner, it was EMPTY. The server was very nice but not very knowledgeable about the menu yet, they are new so I understand. We ordered two drinks, a Caesar and a lemonade drink. They took a very long time to get to us since the bar is in the back but when we did get them they were VERY good. We ordered an appetizer, the grilled calamari, it was pretty good, a bit chewy but the flavours were good. I ordered the filet and my friend ordered the shrimp pasta. The steak was cooked as I ordered but it didn’t really have a sear on the outside. The mashed potatoes were basic and the grilled veggies were sad. The shrimp pasta was also pretty basic, the shrimp itself was good but the pasta was boring, basic buttered noodles. Overall it wasn’t bad by any means it was just “meh”. Not worth the 80$ I paid. The highlight was definitely the drinks.

The Mansion House Historic Restaurant
This place has been around for years. The original building was built in the 1850s and has had many renovations. I remember it from my high school days many years ago. Food is still great , beer is cold , decent amount of TVs. for sports watching and friendly service. They also serve a good breakfast.
