Colour Bar Hair Studio

I live in North Burnaby, and I took the BUS over 2 hours to get to this salon on a Saturday and needless to say, I was NOT disappointed! Clarissa listened to me, and to my hair needs. I have naturally curly hair and I had a vision for what I wanted in my last haircut, and she exceeded my expectations! Clarissa is a highly skilled and educated hair stylist. Her experience is top notch! Anyone who goes to see her and gets their hair done by her will not be disappointed at all! Plus, her scalp massage is out of this world. I highly recommend Clarissa to anyone out there looking for a great haircut. Keep up the great work Clarissa and I will see you at my next appointment! (Hopefully I get to borrow the car for that one! LOL! ) :)

I booked with Stephanie because of the reviews I saw on here. She was awesome and would recommend her. She was able to fix the colour of hair to exactly what I wanted and explained in detail what she was doing.

Hairdresser didn't inform me until after my hair had been bleached that she wouldn't be able to finish it that day. Completely ignored the picture I showed and what I said I wanted. When I called to ask what could be done as my hair was completely yellow, I was told that it would probably fade and they couldn't do anything. Would not recommend

My hair was original semi permanent colour and Nina the hair dresser was great helped meColour it back to brown I love it with some highlight! They definitely know what they are doing for colouring hair ! I would totally go back and recommend my friends there too! The salon on its own is excellent makes u feel like ur at home with the friendly staff

I booked a very last minute appointment with Color bar hair studio and first thing they tried their best to accommodate me to time requested. Second, I was met with a junior hair stylist – Mariah and she was fantastic. I just wanted split ends cut and add in a few layers as well. Decided to get a blow dry. I didn’t realize how much hair I had. But she and arzoo ended up taking care of it and I still can feel my hair are soft and bouncy. They threw in some curls for the whole look to complete. Great job ladies – I am a permanent customer now!

A bright and clean salon. The staff always make you feel special. Stephanie goes out of her way to make sure you are pleased with your hair. She keeps track of what has been done in the past and how my hair reacts to the treatment. I always leave the salon feeling like a new person.

absolutely love colour bar! i have only had one stylist do my hair here - Stephanie - and she is amazing. recently brought my hair back to my natural brown colour after 7 years of dying it a vibrant red, and i cannot believe how seamlessly it matches my true shade. she takes the time to explain what she’s doing and is incredibly knowledgeable. cut, colour, prices, and people are all lovely - thanks colour bar!

Was the worst experience ever, had a unexperienced stylist, left hair dye in my hair, cut was 3 minutes only took 1 off the bottom and still charged me for a full price of a haircut."

I had my hair done by Toni and she did an amazing job. she listens to what I was wanting to get done, she is so full of knowledge and experience that she went way beyond my expectations and I couldn't be more happy with my hair. I had a few consultations prior to seeing Toni with others and everyone was hesitant since I have curly hair and at that time it was Mahogany (on naturally dark brown hair) and I was wanting to go lighter towards caramel blonde. Through the whole process she was super sweet felt like I had known her for years and she kept me updated the whole time so there were no unwanted surprises at the end. Overall she's full of experience especially with curly hair and did a fantastic job!
