Loved the choices available! John was so helpful and very knowledgeable. Even the day after my purchase, he took the time to answer some questions I had. Great guy and love my floor lamp!!

I took my lamp in to Living Lighting this morning to see if I could get it repaired. The young gentleman I dealt with was extremely friendly and told me to bring it in for an assessment. After a quick look he said he could likely fix it on the spot. Less than 5 minutes later my lamp was as good as new. I asked what the charge was and he said no charge". It seems people just don't do business like this anymore. Thanks Living Lighting!"

Went in with an older lamp for repairs.was treated like royalty . I'm not a wealthy person but was treated with same respect as if i was. Great store. Great customer service. Great to see honest people still exist. Thanks guys .

Awesome selection of ceiling fans with or without lights!We chatted with James, John, Claudia and Ian and finally decided on a 60 inch ceiling fan with light in a Koa color to match our new bedroom furniture.All the Living Lighting staff are very knowledgeable and helpful answering our many questions in a friendly manner.John was especially helpful answering questions about a transmitter that we had to replace in another ceiling fan we had purchased from another store 11 years ago.When we showed him a picture of the defective or worn out transmitter and asked about battery replacement, he showed us the same transmitter they had in stock demonstrating that it did not contain a battery. He advised us that our problem could be the transmitter or the receiver.He also suggested that we purchase the transmitter, take it home to try connecting it and If it did not fix the problem, we could return it for a full refund. This way, if the issue was not fixed with the replacement of the new transmitter, then we would know that the problem was with the receiver.Kudos to John who was so helpful. He knew the potential issue with the ceiling fan and fixed our problem.We were so impressed that we returned to purchase a ceiling light also for the new bedroom.You cannot go wrong with Living Lighting - very knowledgeable and very helpful!Thanks John, James, Claudia and Ian for the excellent customer service!!We will be back when we need other lighting products.Cheers,Janice & Richard Thorne :( :

Very pleased with the piano lamp that i recently purchased. There was such a great selection that I had a difficult time choosing. Personnel were very helpful and knowledgeable. Prices were very competitive. Better than online shopping! All in all, I would definitely return for a future purchase.

I got couple fixture which I like at my powder room. It was fast order at the store and with fast delivery. It might be slightly overpriced however, I like at my this lights at my walls.

We recently purchased multiple lights from this store. The staff are top notch. We had one light which had a defect when the electrician put it together and they promptly ordered a new one with out delay. I highly recommend the Merivale rd store.

April 7/23Since first posting this review I have heard directly from the owner of the store. He called me the next day to assure me of the store policy and that I should have received the lower price. He not only sincerely apologized he understood that it was not about the $ difference but about service, loyalty to an existing customer and knowing the little things matter. Kudos for getting it right once knowing there was an issue. Thanks for responding and doing your best to make it right.I went in looking for 6 replacement shades for a dining room chandelier. I found what I was looking for, however once at the cash I noticed at least 2 had lower sticker prices than the rest. By several dollars. Not a huge amount but it matters. I asked the woman serving me why and if I could get them at the lower price, but she hastily pulled off the old" price tag from one and said they were now a higher price. In retrospect I should have just said I didn't want them. If you can't be bothered to price your stock correctly you shouldn't ask the customer to pay the higher price. Be gracious about it and build customer faith and loyalty instead of making people feel uncomfortable for asking about it. A little leeway in the customers favour would have gone a long way."

Great prices and knowledgable staff. Wasn't too sure which fixture style I wanted but they walked me through it and even matched it with a cool bulb.Sales guy was funny as hell too. Ask him for a joke.

We went in and found a fan that we liked that has the fan and a light on it. Then when we decided to take it, them came to us saying that the scu on the light was not right and didn't include the light. They then wanted to charge me an extra 149$. Total rip-off. Don't shop here.Update, we looked online for same fan and found it for 150 less and it includes the light. What a rip-off. Never going there again.You mention that the sale doesn't include the light but the price on wall never stated that. That is wrong and you should abide by that.
