What a treat this afternoon!! Donna and I met friends from Brockville today in Kingston (we came from Brighton) for lunch and we decided to try a new place (as Donna has seen advertised many times on CKWS TV) ... The Pasta Shelf ... One word: WOW! From the first bite I was hooked ... and so was Donna! I had Rigatoni with Sausage & Peppers - Rigatoni in a spicy arrabiatta sauce topped with hot Italian sausage, red & green peppers, smoked white cheddar & smoked mozzarella cheeses. The spice was JUST right ... veggies and noodles cooked PERFECT! Donna had the Rigatoni Parmigiana - Rigatoni in meat sauce with melted mozzarella & parmesan cheese topped with Italian meatballs (and she said the best meatballs EVER!) ... service (Hannah) was awesome and the owner came out to say high ... WORTH the drive!! Next time we're doing Pizza!!

Was definitely amazed by the outstanding taste of each of our dinners. All different and all delicious. And the service was wonderful. Such a bubbly happy young lady. Thanks Trip advisor for another perfect recommendation.

This is an affordable place to eat, most mains are priced around $13.49. Service was friendly, but we waited quite a while for our main dishes. Fresh Parmesan was great, the marinara sauce on the seafood linguine was a little bland. The rotini dish with the roasted veggies and garlic sauce was well received. Really random DMB poster in the men's bathroom ©2006.For the three of us, our average score for the meal was 7/10.

we’re from out of town and wanted some good homemade food and this met that expectation and more. super welcoming and homey. the tortellini was great! the cheese and sauce was so soft(if you get that) and the carne was excellent. we’ll be coming here next time we’re in kingston

I don’t know what it has I thought at first maybe because we’ve all had Covid pretty much, that there just doesn’t seem to be any taste in any food lately but then every once in a while I go to a place that taste fantastic, unfortunately this wasn’t one of those places, the tomato sauce that was on the spaghetti that came with my chicken Parmesan was pretty much just tomato sauce no seasoning nothing very bland, the only thing I could taste on the chicken was the oil it was cooked in my garlic toast I thought it was just toast until I got right in the very center of it then I finally could taste garlic my wife she got the chicken marsala she said that I had some good flavor I had a bite and it was OK but also her spaghetti with tomato sauce no flavor at all. my mom she got the carbonara very bland even the bacon bits that were in it didn’t have much of a flavor they were very busy with people coming in picking up orders so maybe that’s the thing get the stuff take it home and add your seasoning oh well onto the next. On a positive note they did cob my mom‘s carbonara as she didn’t even eat half of it. They were kind of busy so It did take around 35 minutes to get our food by then I was starving so sorry for no pictures of the food.

5 ⭐️ Super friendly service5 ⭐️ fast serviceMy soup and Greek salad was fresh and delishChicken parm dinner was delishRigatoni Parmesan also delishOddly the carbonara tasted like spaghetti that had been boiled and then left to sit for awhile so it was no longer al dente and rather gummy in texture. All meals came with a huge slice of garlic bread.

I love that you can buy different sized pasta for take home. Just throw them in the oven and you have a delicious home made pasta meal. Makes things so easy without having to eat fast food.

I have been going to the Pasta Shelf for years. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. I usually get their spaghetti sauce to go. I love the points' system and I have gotten a lot of free things over the years. Today, the owner (I believe it was the owner. I could be wrong) was AMAZING. I carried 4 containers of sauce to my car because I had left my bags there. I had overestimated my lack of clumsiness and a sauce container fell on the ground beside my car, exploded and splashed sauce all over the place. It only took a few seconds for the owner to run out and help me. He brought me another sauce (free of charge) and was so, so nice about it. I loved this place before. I do even more, now. I highly recommend this great local restaurant. :)

Have been seeing commercials for 2 years and finally planned a trip to Kingston so we could have dinner. Weren't disappointed! Meals were delicious, service was great. We will visit again.

What a great place. Our night started out first at east side Mario’s then Kelsey and to Montana's and all had long waits. We happen to drive by this place and wow. It will now be our go to for dinner. There were 6 of us and everyone was raving over dinner with all cleaned off plates and desserts to go. I don’t think you can beat or compare any of the chain type restaurants to a family run fresh home cooked meal like we all had here.
