I had an appointment with one of their therapists for a free consultation at 6:30pm. Then at around 4:20pm on that day, the appointment was cancelled without any explanation.Pretty disappointed with how they treat their new patients.

We did not end up using their services, but the receptionist was kind and to the point. Although this must vary based on individual needs, they advised that their Adult Autism Assessments are about 2500 to 3500.They had lovely customer service, but I recommend trying to get a doctor's referral to the OHIP-covered Adult Neurodevelopmental Services at CAMH if you can.

I’m quite impressed by this clinic & recommend it for psychological services. Staff are cordial & welcoming; the only drawback is they get busy in evenings & you need to wait for questions & payment. Therapy is a big part of my life and imho it is helpful fore everyone to examine their lives with the help of a professional.

Inconsistent quality of service from administrative staff and therapists. Complete disregard for Clients’ time & resources. Do not recommend.

I’ve seen about a thousand different therapists over the years. Clearly not literally, but you get the idea. I have never seen one as skilled, thorough, smart and kind as Dr. Hakim. She is a rare gem. Every session, I seem to leave with an aha! that I didn’t see coming. I cannot recommend her enough.

Took me time to get a handle on how Therapy works and Im glad I listened to my pal's advice [also a shrink] on being patient and establishing a bond with my therapist before foraging for the next magic bullet. Insecurities made me look at previous helpers with paranoia and the delusion that they should liberate & rescue me in a few appointments. The realization that I never took respoinsiblity and blamed others as a distraction from looking inside was big. There is always hope and its good to feel it. love.

I reached out and made ONE phone call to CFIR to get some more information on their services. My call was returned and I was told that this program was only applicable to CHILD PSYCHOLOGY and counselling, where at that point I told her this wouldn't work out considering I am a 26 year old woman and since then I have received NUMUROUS amounts of calls to my cell phone from them. They have been calling me twice to three times a day throughout the day and have left me 3 voice messages, all in the matter of about 6 business days. Seems like they are a little desperate for clientele (as this is a paid service, not government funded) Even after I told them I am not a minor and cannot benefit from their services. Just thought I'd share this experience. The paid programs often operate this way, where as all the free programs don't have time or space in their schedule to even make a follow up call. Very disappointing system we have in place here.

Erica Tatham is the best therapist! I haven’t met her in person because I live in Ottawa so we do our sessions through video chat. She’s great. I’m so happy I found her through CFIR.

Dealing with their front desk receptionist is a nightmare. It's not the same person, I'm sure they outsourced it to another company to save money and keep more for themselves. I told them that my financial institution does not accept e-transfers without a security question/answer (First Ontario), and they DIDN'T believe me. I reached out to them again and offered a security question and answer so that I could make payment, they still denied me the ability to pay. During a time of social distancing, I found this behaviour unacceptable and I have lost respect for this organization and everyone who works there. Don't waste your money, there are better places to get the help you need and that care about you and NOT JUST MONEY.

I went for an initial consultation with a guy named mikan (can't remember for sure). Dude just read me their guidelines then asked me if I felt we were a fit. No we were not, because you didn't say anything remotely useful. Very unsympathetic and I felt I was being judged and talked down to the whole time. Maybe this place has other therapists who are good at what they do but I had the worst experience with this guy. Needless to say, I didn't go back.
