Ordered a Pick Up of 'Afternoon Tea for 2'. Absolutely delightful. Had more items them we expected, and so delicious. A happy experience. We definitely do this again. Thank you Lynn.

Enjoyed a beautiful late afternoon tea with my wife. She had a walnut beet salad (avoids wheat) while I had a scone and tea bread plate. The tea bread in this case was banana bread. It was quite dense, but tasty. The scone was great. It was the last hour of their day (4-5) so very quiet. Great atmosphere and wonderful staff.

The building and ambiance we're lovely as we're the people. The cups we're beautiful and the unique salt and pepper shakers a delight. The food was good but not great and the tea was ill prepared and bitter. Not a terrible experience but certainly underwhelming.

Lovely atmosphere. However, the afternoon tea was awful. We believe we found cat hair in the sandwiches. The scones were very dense and tasteless. The hostess/waitress was very accommodating. I have gone to many establishments for tea all over Ontario and in Florida. The food was very disappointing. There was a cut piece of a crunchie bar as one of the sweets. My two friends were also very disappointed. I think a new chef is in order. Such a shame because the decor is beautiful.

Lovely tea cups, great food, friendly service. Only thing holding it back from 5 stars is the quality of the scones.

Was in for tea yesterday with a friend and was shocked at just how poor the service - and quality of the food was. (not sure how it gets great ratings). One server during a lunch hour rush on a day with a town event underway just shows poor management planning. Ordered one of the Teas - and it took forever to come. I think what bothered me the most is they tried pass off melting whipped cream as clotted cream....it's NOT. Any business passing for a Tea House would know that!. The food looked sloppy - the sweets looked like they came from M&Ms (I'd bet anything on that) But the real show came when we tried to get our bill and a take out box. Swearing from the manager/cook in the kitchen, fumbling from the server - pretty much a gong show. Will not return. Advise the same for anyone.

Abysmal and unprofessional. Just terrible service and a very rude, sweaty and swearing chef. Waited forever for our food, which was mediocre at best. I didn't even get a plate to eat from, we never got the water we asked for. Tea is bagged. Only one server for the whole place, which was only 1/2 full but she was clearly out of her element. Plus, she was doing everything...serving, bussing and ringing customers out at the cash register. At one point she just completely disappeared for 30 minutes. This on a day when there was a town event and they should have staffed up. Will never go back.

One star is being nice for this place. We order and waited for 75 minutes before the food came. The place was not all that busy. Did not offer water while we waited for the food. We ordered five high teas. When we finally got the food, we got two three tier serving plates for five people. Another person ordered high tea and got almost the same amount of food on the serving dish as we did. They charged us the same price as her and we got far less for our money. They didn't have the tea that one person ordered and the server decided what type of tea she should have. The tea came almost 15 minutes after the food. I would never recommend this place. Do not waste your time or money.

Delightful, tastefully quirky decor. Entertaining to examine the thoughtful collection of teacups and decorative glassware made locally. Really charming. Food is excellent and well priced. Peaceful setting in peaceful hamlet of Shakespeare.

This was the nicest surprise. Such a cute store with a bakery and cafe. They had a great candy selection. Our meal was top notch but what made it so special was the people there. Our waitress was the sweetest funny person and made it a very special experience. Will be back next time we come through Shakespeare. Thank you!
