Very professional service. Installers came (Marco and Kyle) at the appointed time - installed and tested my new furnace. Courteous and polite - cleaned up well with no delays or glitches. Definitely would recommend Exl-Aire!

Good prompt and reliable service

So we have has some work done to our furnace that exle air suggested while we had them come and quote a humidifier. Once they came and installed the humidifier they attempted to fix the problem and then sent us two bills one for the humidifier install and one for the fix. We paid the humidifier install no problem and called and said the problem that they wanted us to have fixed wasn’t fixed, so they came back and trialed again and said if it doesn’t work that’s all they can really do. No we have been trying to call because it’s not fixed and we have called multiple times and left messages and have not heard a response. We were trying to talk about the bill seeing as we shouldn’t have to pay the full bill if they never fixed a problem we never even knew about. Now today March 17th we finally got ahold of them and they told us, oh we wrote that off and we won’t do work for you guys every again. Here we are trying to talk about what is a fair bill for work done that never fixed the problem after we easily paid for a big humidifier install bill, and they just want to refuse work for us because they can’t get back to us to talk about the bill. They don’t have to worry about having to work for us because we won’t be going back. Now the service techs that were here were pleasant and did what they were supposed to, the office just really mismanaged this situation.

I base this review solely on customer service. I had one of their mechanics come in and assess the job. He told me I needed a new fan motor. He told me that he would order the piece for me and it would show up on Monday (It was Saturday at the time). He was nice enough to clean the fan for me and have my furnace working temporarily while the piece was meant to arrive. 2 WEEKS later I get a call asking if I want the fan installed. I was a little reluctant to have it installed because my fan was back to working fine. The administrative lady convinced me to do it because they had the part on hand. She did leave out the part that the motor was going to cost me 847$. A mere mention of the cost would have been courteous. 850$ is a lot of money, perhaps a small heads up that I was going to get smacked in the face with a 1100$ after Christmas would have been nice!!!

My old furnace died on the coldest night of the year (to quote Bruce Cockburn). John and the team tried unsuccessfully to fix it Friday night. Plan B was a new furnace which took them two days to find but when they did, drove hundreds of km to pick it up and immediately install. Works great and disaster averted. Such exceptional service is pretty rare these days!!

We had a very last minute need for a mini-split air conditioner right in the middle of a head wave and they had it put in the day after I called. The staff were exceptionally nice, professional and of incredible help. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Thank you!!!
