The staff here in this Hub International in Sorrento are very unbelievably rude and disrespectful. My experience was terrible. I had just moved to this area and was new to purchasing insurance as I had never done before because my ex-husband had done all that in the past. I had no idea what I wanted or needed and I expected the staff to explain it to me without making me feel stupid and incompetent. The agent I had her name was Amy and she was terrible she made me feel so embarrassed especially when she continued to sigh at me over and over again when I was asking questions as I thought I had every right to. I felt like I had been belittled when I left the store and I will never go back again. I will travel to a different city just so I don't have to deal with the staff at this store. I highly do not recommend going here if you have any questions or do not know the process of purchasing insurance.

I recently had a claim for a boat issue. I called Hub in Sorrento, spoke with the manager Claudette and received an immediate response to my questions and possible claim. 3 days after posting my claim, with Claudette's assistance, I received a call from her asking if my issues were resolved with the adjuster. My claim was processed quickly and to full resolution.I've worked with a myriad of insurance brokers over many decades and rarely had this kind of professional and engaging service. Horrible. I will never go back. I have allergies and the woman refused to show me the ingredients or data sheet of the non labeled hand sanitizer. I asked if I could wash my hands in the bathroom instead. She also refused this. I then offered to wait outside to sign the renewal form. She told me to leave or she was goin to call the police.

I have given up on shopping local when it comes to my insurance needs! Last fall I made an attempt to renew four vehicle insurances at your business. Mask on, sanitized hands, only 3 customers in Store, I stepped in and waited for the girl on the phone to wave me over. She acknowledged me by saying she would be with me as soon as she was done. I said no problem and sat down on a chair by the window, which I see has since been removed. Then all of a sudden from a lady in the back I hear her loudly tell me that I can’t be in here and wait outside. No please, thank you, just rude! I left and got my insurance processed in SA.Thinking this might have been just a one-off day, I went back to your Store yesterday and tried again to licence up a couple of vehicles. Mask on, sanitized hands, only two customers in store, I waited between the set of doors for a customer to finish and then would enter the main part of store. Lady in back office comes to me and says that I’m blocking the hall way and to wait outside. No please, no thank you and when I tried to talk to her, she let the door close and walked away. My business went to SA and will remain there! Friendly Service is definitely not a trademark that I have experienced at this Store.

In the past I have used this business for all my needs. I have always been impressed and pleased with their professional approach and have not hesitated to recommend them. My latest experience however was a far cry from what I have experienced in the past. I called to book two insurance needs and was told I could only do my ATV insurance by appointment do to Co-vid 19 restrictions. I agreed to an appointment time. I live forty minutes in rural country from this office. When I arrived at the time given, the door was locked. The person behind the desk would not make eye contact. The phone system would not take a call despite repeated efforts at contact,even though the sign on the door indicated hours of operation. At no time was I contacted to cancel this appointment or to explain why I was not accommodated. This a waste of my time to say the least. I understand the need to be safe. I do not see how that mitigates this.
